- The view of this hotel is absolutely extraordinary. Recommended for this alone.
- We had a super spacious and beautiful room with two floors. The shower was spacious, with two showerheads. The bed was on the second floor and was extremely comfy. In general, the design is absolutely exceptional.
- Breakfast delivered to your room every day without surcharge is amazing.
- The hotel restaurant was great. We had a salad and a Greek "pizza" and both items were delicious.
- Wifi was very fast during our stay -- and our room got their own wifi hotspot (which is rare for a hotel).
- Hotel staff is very nice and helped us carry the luggage from the parking area down the stairs to the hotel.
- Every morning, the moisture in the room was very high and our clothes felt damp. This could be for many different reasons -- probably because it's winter and we disabled the A/C heating. It could also be because of the indoor jacuzzi. Hard to tell. We didn't care enough to really find the root cause because we only stayed for a short time.
- The ceiling is very low on the first floor of our room. I am 182cm high and hit my head on the entrance to the bathroom a few times. Nothing serious, but a minor inconvenience.
- The stairs down from the second floor look absolutely beautiful but feel a bit dangerous at night, especially since I can't be fully upright at the top of the stairs due to the curvature of the wall.
- (super minor and this can be easily found out before: We generally like a gym -- this hotel has none.)
The breakfast was quite nice and served on your balcony or in your room. A word to the wise: be sure you are ready to be outside the very second they leave your breakfast on the balcony. I was 10 seconds behind and the birds had already taken over our breakfast. Staff was kind enough to send another.
The bed was quite comfortable. The view from our balcony was fantastic. We enjoyed the hot tub but wished it could have been a few degrees warmer. Our room was on the lowest level. There were a few flights of stairs to/from our room to reception. We appreciate the porters that helped with luggage as a result. Staff as a whole was very pleasant.
The heated pool made for a nice afternoon and we were there in early December. We were fortunate on the weather.
There was no full length mirror in the room. There was not a shelf in the shower to put your shampoo and other items on. These would be pretty quick and important fixes for what I consider an upscale hotel. The tile in the pool area is very slippery when wet.
