Excellent for an overnight stay on route home
Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und das Personal ist sehr nett und Hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist sehr kostengünstig und wir haben das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis als sehr gut empfunden.
Der kleine Balkon mit seitlichem Meerblick war von Sonnenaufgang bis Sonnenuntergang direkt von der Sonne beschienen und ein Sonnschutz existierte nicht. Das heisst, der Balkon war nicht, bzw. erst nach Sonnenuntergang brauchbar.
Excellent location
The location was the top reason we stayed here. Close to everything and our room was looking out to the water. It was a very clean room and had decent sound proofing.
The staff seemed tired of tourists... Fair enough I suppose. It was a noisy area but that's also because you're literally downtown so we expected that. And if you've rented a car, expect to park on the public streets as there's no dedicated parking for this hotel. We found a spot no problem.

Fantastic location overlooking the sea and very close to central Argostoli. Staff were friendly and helpful.
It seems as if the breakfast buffet wasn't topped up. We weren't close to the end of breakfast hours, but there was very little choice left.

Overall the hotel is pretty and characterful, and in a great location
We booked a double room with balcony and sea view. On arrival we were allocated room 14. Unfortunately the view from this room was of the side of the building opposite (see photograph). If we stepped out on to the balcony and looked to our left we had a sea view. The expectation when you book a room with a sea view is that you can see the sea directly in front of you when you stand in front of the bedroom window - the room supplied cannot therefore be considered a room with a sea view and the hotel’s description of it is very misleading. Also, the bedroom walls were full of cracks and peeling paint (see photographs). How on earth someone can think it is reasonable to charge over £150/€175 per night for a room in this condition is mind boggling. Furthermore, there was a strong smell of stale cigarettes in the room and the aircon was next to useless (fortunately it wasn’t extremely hot while we were staying). The only redeeming feature of the room was a nice modernised bathroom with a good shower. Staff were generally pretty unfriendly apart from the two front of house staff at breakfast. You can much better elsewhere.

We only stayed for one night, and so had a small room & bathroom. Small balcony, nothing can be done about that!
The road is very busy.
The location was great as a base for the island. We hired a car, which allowed us to reach all parts of the island with 1hr being the furthest we had to drive.
The staff at breakfast were more friendly. The lady behind the little bar area made a great coffee, and the young lad who cleared the tables was on the ball. So it was very efficient.
The breakfast itself was ok. Some people would love it, we always found something that we liked, but eventually, you ended up getting the same food for the week. All I really need is coffee, and that was very good.
The room was very dated. The bed was crazy hard, which if you like firm beds isn't too much of a problem. I thought I liked a firm bed, but this bed was hard!
We had also asked for a double, but it was 2 single beds pushed together, which meant you never felt like you were sharing the same bed. Not the best.
The staff at reception were courteous but not very friendly, but nice enough. If you like to be left alone when you're on holiday it would be perfect. I like a little chat with the staff when I'm away, but this really wasn't possible, hence courteous but not friendly.
