Très belle pension
Pros:

Le charme des lieux, dans un cadre extérieur tout aussi charmant, le confort, le petit déjeuner exceptionnel.

Cons:

Le sol de la douche/wc commun et trempé entièrement une fois la douche prise.

Stilvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer ohne Balkon oder Aussicht.
Pros:

Das Haus war sehr schön und gepflegt.
Das Zimmer wsr klein aber gut ausgestattet.
Parkplatz war vorhanden

Cons:

Wir hatten weder Meerblick noch einen Balkon oder eine Terasse - das war bei Booking com nicht wirklich gut beschrieben.
Bis zum Ort mussteman um die ganze Bucht laufen - nahe der Unterkunft keine Taverne.
Bad war seeehr klein.
Waschbecken im Zimmer mögen wir nicht.

A pleasant surprise
Pros:

We stayed at Galaxi Mansion, an independent traditional Greek house overlooking the beautiful bay of Galaxidi — and it was one of the highlights of our trip.

The property has a charming, authentic character, with a gorgeous Greek-style garden that feels like a destination in itself. Sitting there in the evening with a drink, surrounded by calm and simplicity, is an experience worth having.

The room was cosy, the bed exceptionally comfortable, and the view truly stunning — the kind you don’t get tired of.

Breakfast deserves a special mention: easily one of the best we had in Greece. Fresh, generous, and clearly prepared with care.

But what really makes a place like this stand out is the staff. Just like everywhere we’ve been in these past 10 days, it’s the locals who make the difference. There is a genuine warmth and pride in what they do that you can feel.

If you come here, take the time to appreciate that — and treat them with the same kindness. They are, without question, the best part of travelling in Greece.
