Good basic hotel for diving but not really suitable for non- divers
Pros:

Food was very good. Lots of menu choice. Service was slow however. Scuba diving and snorkeling was great - highly recommended. Town of Utila has very friendly laid back vibe - however hotel is a bit too far away to walk to it.

Cons:

Service at restaurant could have been faster (sometimes over an hour waiting for meal. If you’re not diving there are no amenities at hotel ( no common room, no TV, no comfortable chairs., no shade around pool. Hotel needs more shade in quiet areas so guests can relax (no loud music).

We had a very relaxing stay and especially liked sitting on our balcony watching the ocean.
Pros:

Excellent location with access to the water from front and rear. Away from the bustle of town.

Cons:

The abandoned pool is a bit of an eyesore.

para iniciar llegue al checkinn y mi habitación se la habían dado a otra persona, segundo; sacaron las pertenencias de la persona y nos entregaron la habitación sin antes asegurarse de que estuviera accesible el baño ya había sido usado no reclamamos en el momento por ser empaticos aparte que teníamos cosas por hacer, tercera; no son responsable con la privacidad que uno necesita porque mi pareja y yo ya estábamos descansando en nuestra intimidad y una persona particular llega abrirnos la habitación por completo y no había ninguna persona encargada del alojamiento para resolver ese asunto es demasiado incomodo e inaceptable hospedarse en un hotel y tener miedo porque no están cuidando nuestra privacidad de que alguien pueda entrar sin ningun permiso

Phenomenal staff
Pros:

The staff is absolutely amazing. Front desk and restaurant staff went out of the way to make sure your stay was pleasant. It is a lil rustic but it fits the entire vibe of utila and would not have expected anything different! Loved our stay and will b back

Se tardan demasiado en el restaurante casi 2 horas para prepararte un platillo aunque no allá nadie en el restaurante siempre se tardan lo mismo deberían d poner personal más ágil y con experiencia para que cocinen rápido

Pros:

La ubicación y las instalaciones son excelentes. El aseo es un gran plus, muy limpio.

Cons:

Me dieron una habitación muy pequeña, sin balcón, con poco mobiliario para acomodar cosas. La próxima vez seré más específico en lo que solicite según mis necesidades. Por la relación precio-comodidad es que hago esa última observación. Para poder secar ropa o poder trabajar en laptop y otros asuntos. Por lo demás todo bien.
