I had been 5 years ago so I knew what to expect and I wasn’t disappointed. Rooms are much better, but staff and food remain top notch!
Proximity to Lindos - about 20 min walk - which normally would have been fine but heart condition made it an issue walking back, but for 5€ managed to book a golf cart (perfect)!

We stayed in room 124 which is a recently upgraded room. Modern decor. Powerful shower. Nespresso coffee machine. Room cleaned every day with clean towels. Beach towels, toiletries and slippers provided. Very efficient air conditioning. Powerful hairdryer fixed to wall in bathroom. Breakfast choice good. Portions are large but they are happy to adjust to suit you. Could always get a sun lounger around the pool. Sun loungers were new and very comfortable. Very quiet location. 10-15 minute walk in to the centre of Lindos. 2 min walk to supermarket. Great views of the Acropolis and sea from the balcony. Beautiful sunrise views.
Choice of radio station in pool bar. 1980’s love songs which was a bit depressing at times. Would recommend having some more modern upbeat music.
The facilities were good, you could tell it was a new or renovated building, the staff was very warm and friendly, good breakfast and menu options, I loved that the rooms were cleaned every day.
I would only give one suggestion regarding cleaning, detailing it a little more in small details, such as in the doors and showers and in the plastic grate on the floor that surrounds the pool
It was spotless rooms comfortable breakfast cooked to order and service was fantastic ! Special mention to Vicky and Yiannis who is a top man ! All the staff were great !

We loved everything about this hotel.
The owners/staff are truly the most kindest people that make you feel so welcome and included as friends/family.
We had one of new superior rooms which was beautiful, very clean and quiet even though the hotel was full.
The food was fresh and delicious.
We feel this hotel is a bit of hidden gem, in a quiet location but with waking distance into Lindos if able.

Generally I never rate anything with a perfect score. Rafael Hotel comes very close. All the staff were very helpful, and the food was excellent, making it a really enjoyable experience.
Having to return home! I am hoping to return to Lindos in the not too distant future, and I would book in again at Rafael Hotel
We liked everything, Hotel Rafael is a wonderful family run hotel. Extremely welcoming staff, superb large room, views from the balcony, faultless breakfast with lots of choice, beautiful relaxing and clean pool and garden area with plenty of sun beds.
The hotel is in a peaceful area just above the main town of Lindos, a perfect location as Lindos itself gets very busy during the day. It is only a short 10 to 15 minute walk away, a hill walk on the way back fine for us but if necessary there are plenty of taxis available or a short shuttle bus ride up.

The whole of the hotel had norovirus! If I had known that I would of stayed at home.
I had 2 days that's all when I was there rest was terrible. She's a nice lady who ownes it. But that's about it really. Pool had no chlorine in and freezing!
It's still taken me now to get my self well again!
Lovely friendly hosts, peaceful (adults only is great!), walking distance to old town, deluxe room was beautiful, great pool and pool area. Delicious fresh breakfast included.
