Pros:

I stayed in here for 3 nights with my wife and 14 months old kid. I enjoyed the stay to the fullest.
Booked the mountain view room and it had all the essential amenities like heater,electric bed mattress,cozy room,sofa, hair dryer, etc
The staff was very helpful and polite in nature.
Got Khichdi cooked for my little one and served when needed.
Around 1.5 kM walk to mall road and location is ok if you don't want to stay in a too crowded street.
I would surely stay here when I visit again.

Had a great stay.
Pros:

Loved the location. Everything was within proximity, especially Mall Road and the Peace Pagoda. The food was genuinely great, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the stay. Overall, a really comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Pros:

Very friendly staff, a charming hotel with confort.
Good food at the hotel. Thank you for hosting us.

Cons:

Shower is either boiling or freezing cold. The system is not working properly.
Temperature in the rooms was pretty cold 2nd week of April. I can't imagine how December to February must feel like!

Pros:

The Hotel Villa Everest is like a million place.
We liked everything: a building, location (walking distance from Mall Rd), view from our room (we occupied the 1st Fl.), friendly and helpful staff, laundry service, tasty breakfast. Especially the electric heating bed. Thanks for this experience.
We'll definitely be back.

Pros:

We had a very spacious room and the heating blankets were fantastic. Also the space heater made the stay cozy. The town is a short walk away.

Pros:

The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, the room was large and comfortable with nice decor and had tea making facilities, a heater and an electric blanket - needed as the nights are quite cold! The toiletries, towels and flip flops provided were also nice and the bed was very comfortable. An 8 minute walk into town, the hotel was well located. Attached cafe/restaurant also very nice with good food and decor!

It was a good pleasant stay for a night!
Pros:

The location is good, not bad at all. Very near to mall road. The hotel is well maintained and it has great views on a clear sunny day plus they provide room heaters!!! Parking space is limited but shouldnt be a big problem

Cons:

The hotel is awfully quiet and they can add some lights etc to brighten it up.

Best stay we have had in Darjeeling till date
Pros:

Absolutely incredible stay. Excellent property with a great view, amazing staff, good food options and very convenient location. We absolutely loved our room. A short walk away from the town centre so everything we wanted to do was in walking distance range. On a clear day you get a good view of Kanchenjunga from the little outdoor seating area, and there is nothing better than drinking a cup of tea in the sunshine enjoying the view.

Gemütliches kleines Hotel
Pros:

Sehr zuvorkommendes, extrem freundliches Personal. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und gemütlich, toll waren die auch schon in anderen Bewertungen erwähnten Heizdecken in den Betten. Wir hatten zusätzlich auch einen Heizlüfter im Zimmer. Großes Bad mit großer Duschkabine, Warmwasser über Boiler, so dass man nicht, wie in manch anderen, höherpreisigen Hotels, auf irgendwelche absurden Zeiten, in denen heißes Wasser angeboten wird, angewiesen ist. Es wird ein externer Wäscheservice angeboten, Wäsche kam top zurück. Gutes Frühstück und Abendessen im kleinen Restaurant, beides a la carte. Lage war gut für uns, nachts auch kaum Verkehr. Haben uns wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen.

Highly recommend
Pros:

Beautifully restored heritage hotel close enough to town to walk everywhere but tucked away from the noise. We ate lunch dinner and breakfast in the restaurant , all the food was excellent and quick service. The electric blankets and bed heaters were much appreciated . It was rainy on our checkout day and one of the team members walked us to the train station with hotel umbrellas as we didn’t have them. Try the homemade shortbread !

Great people, good food, ideal location for what we wanted.
Pros:

The staff were very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We stayed for a week so got to know each staff member. Good people!

Cons:

The hotel is around 1km from Chowrasta, which was actually quite good as it allowed for some exercise time. It also gave access to other parts of Darjeeling that you might not walk if stay in Chowrasta (so actually not a complaint).

Amazing staff
Pros:

The staff is just fantastic !
They helped with bags with all requests, and made us feel welcome and at home.

Cons:

The room was as cold as outside. The heater we had on the first night was poor and did not warm enough. Also, we arrived at 2300 and the heater was off, so the room was freezing. It would be nice to switch on a few hours before the guests arrival( they organized our transfer)

We asked to see other room , also cold, and afterwards the portable heater in our room was changed.
After that the room was nice and warm.
The bathroom was still cold, but well, that's the joy of travelling. You get out of your comfort zone ✌️
