Pros:

Hotel je sice starší, ale udržovaný v čistotě. Snídaně perfektní, klasický švédský stůl a vejce připravená dle potřeby na objednávku. Kola schovaná v garáži. Personál milý.

Cons:

Trochu měkčí matrace v posteli, ale to je můj osobní pocit.

Das Fruehstueck sehr lecker,
das Abendessen - Hausgemachter Burger auch sehr gut.
Abstellpaltz fuer Fahrraeder etwas zu klein, aber...OK.
Nah an dem Donauradweg, auch nicht weit von dem Zentrum weg.
Alles gepflegt und sauber. Empfehlungswert.

Großes, gut ausgestattetes Zimmer.
Sehr ruhige Umgebung.

Cons:

1.) Was mich auch in vielen anderen Hotels stört: Es gibt einen großen Kleiderschrank (Bravo!) und darin eine lange Kleiderstange. Aber daran hängen gerade mal vier Bügel, in einem Doppelzimmer. Also pro Person zwei Bügel. Was soll das? Im Urlaub möchte ich gern meine Sachen auspacken und in den Schrank hängen.
2.) Der Weg zu Fuß ins Zentrum von Melk ist ziemlich weit. Um das Hotel herum gibt es keine Gasthäuser oder ähnliches, die Gegend ist ziemlich abgelegen.

Drei Tage waren ok
Pros:

Frühstück war ok..schade das das Restaurant erst ab 17.00 Uhr offen hat und am Sonntag überhaupt nicht

Cons:

Zimmer bei den jetzigen Temperaturen ohne Klima geht fast gar nicht mehr....das Fenster kannst in der Nacht auch nicht aufmachen da hast dann den Straßen Lärm

Schönes Wochenende zwischen Stift und Wachau(ring).
Pros:

Nettes Familien geführtes Hotel mit sehr guter Küche und exzellentem Frühstück. Gute Lage (nahe Hauptverkehrsrouten), dennoch ruhig und schöne Aussicht. Parkgarage inkludiert.

Cons:

Mangelnde Verdunkelung der Zimmer. Wegen fehlender Außenbeschattung hohe Zimmertemperatur.

Einigermaßen moderne Ausstattung des Zimmers
Frühstück relativ reichhaltig, aber nicht überragend

Cons:

Das Zimmer lag direkt über der Küche. Bei offenem Fenster gelangte sowohl am Morgen als auch am Abend starker Küchengeruch ins Zimmer. Das Küchenpersonal hätte die Fenster geschlossen halten können, wollte dies aber verständlicherweise bei 28° nicht, wir aber auch nicht. Ist der Gast also weniger wichtig als das eigene Personal?
Immerhin hat sich die Frau an der Rezeption dafür entschuldigt und uns ein kleines Geschenk gegeben.
4 Sterne ist vermutlich etwas zu hoch bewertet, wir fanden das Hotel eher typisch für 3 Sterne.
