The staff were absolutely brilliant!! Breakfast was lovely too! The view from the room was excellent!
Occasionally, donkeys would pass along the road directly in front of the hotel, allowing us to watch them from the balcony.
We are really grateful that we could watch Netflix on the room's television!
The staff were friendly, and it was enjoyable to have a chat with them.
Thank you ever so much for your wonderful hospitality!

es gibt keinen Strand zu Fuß erreichbar
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels war super – zentral, aber trotzdem ruhig. Die Zimmer (insgesamt sieben) sind am Hang gebaut, also gibt es keine Stockwerke im klassischen Sinn: Ein Zimmer liegt weiter oben, das nächste unten rechts, das dritte unten links usw.
Unser Zimmer hatte einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf das Meer und auf ein weiteres Hotel mit Suiten. Wenn man nach oben rechts schaute, konnte man das Zentrum von Fira sehen, und nach unten blickte man auf die Gondel und die Treppe, die hinunter zum Hafen führen, wo Boote die Gäste von Kreuzfahrtschiffen transportieren.
Das Frühstück wurde nicht als Buffet serviert, sondern à la carte. Eierspeisen konnte man jeden Morgen frisch bestellen. Es gab täglich Abwechslung – entweder Croissant oder Blätterteiggebäck mit Schafskäse. Wasser und Orangensaft wurden immer serviert, dazu leckere, weiche Butter, verschiedene Marmeladen und Honig. Griechischer Salat, Joghurt, Käse und Schinken waren auf Wunsch ebenfalls erhältlich.

Giorgio ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, immer positiv und gibt Infos und Tipps.

Was die Zimmer betrifft, ist alles in Ordnung. Allerdings sind die Hotels der 4-Sterne-Kategorie in Fira zum Beispiel nicht mit jenen in Österreich vergleichbar. In Fira ist alles niedriger gebaut und an das feuchte Inselklima angepasst. Die Ausstattung ist traditionell und praktisch gehalten, aber dennoch geschmackvoll dekoriert.
Auch wenn wir im Bad nur warmes Wasser aus einem 40-Liter-Boiler hatten, hat es immer ausgereicht.

Die Betreiber des Hotels geben sich große Mühe, damit sich die Gäste – die aus allen Teilen der Welt kommen – wohlfühlen und zufrieden sind. Wenn wir noch einmal nach Fira kommen, würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder dasselbe Zimmer buchen – Nr. 105, das nächste mal aber lieber mit einem Karten- oder Codeschließsystem.

Cons:

Das Leitungswasser ist nicht trinkbar.
Die Strände entsprechen nicht ganz meinen persönlichen Erwartungen. Der nächste Strand befindet sich in Kamari, ist jedoch eher klein. Außerdem liegt auf der westlichen Seite ein Berg, sodass man die Sonne zu dieser Jahreszeit (Ende Oktober) nur bis etwa 15:00 Uhr genießen kann.
Der nächste größere Strand liegt in Perissa/Perivolos, aber die Busfahrt dorthin dauert recht lange – etwa 45 Minuten, da es viele Haltestellen gibt und die Strecke kurvig verläuft. Die Straßen sind schmal, der Fahrer muss oft abbremsen, und dadurch kann einem leicht schwindlig werden. Der Sand besteht aus kleinen, etwa 1–1,2 mm großen schwarzen Steinchen und ist eher grobkörnig als fein.
Der Rote Strand ist zwar sehr schön, aber eigentlich kein richtiger Badestrand. Man fährt bis Akrotiri und geht dann von der Bushaltestelle aus über Felsen hinauf, um den Strand zu erreichen. Wegen der Steine-Rutschgefahr darf man dort jedoch nicht liegen.
Auch die Treppe hinunter zum Hafen von Fira, über die normalerweise Boote die Gäste der Kreuzfahrtschiffe transportieren, war bereits gesperrt. Man konnte nur mit der Gondel nach unten und wieder hinauf ins Zentrum von Fira fahren. Ich hätte gerne die ganze Treppe hinuntergelaufen, aber das war leider nicht möglich.

Das betrifft zwar das Hotel nicht, ist aber eine wichtige Information für Touristen.

What really made the difference was the warmth and kindness of everyone we met. The service felt deeply personal, never scripted — just real, thoughtful, and full of heart.

A very special thank you to Dona, Ina, and Alex, who each played a huge part in making our holidays so memorable. Whether it was a friendly chat, a helpful suggestion, or a small thoughtful gesture, they made us feel completely at home.

We left Santorini with beautiful memories and full hearts — and we know that the warmth of the Delion View team was a big part of that. We can’t wait to return and relive that feeling again.

Infront of Santorini's Caldera
Pros:

The location and the view were great! We are having two views, the caldera and the hilly side of Fira. It was amazing! Breakfast served had many choices - despite that it was served in our room.
The staff were happy to serve the guests. We loved and enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

Everything is fine. We were able to find the hotel easily.
There is really nothing to write here as we loved and enjoyed our stay in Delion and in Santorini.
