Great stay! Whole family enjoyed it.
Pros:

It was great stay. The room was exactly what we needed. Everything was clean, restaurant and pool setting were very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. We have enjoyed it!

Cons:

We can´t complain. Small things only: Bottom of the pool might be cleaner. Waiting for the food in restaurant needs patience (30-45 minutes is normal) - but it happens in every restaurant in Zanzibar, so it is not of fault of this hotel. :) It wasn´t directly at the beach but 150 meters.

Malo.pipa u kupaoni nema pritisak dobar i pjesak se nosi u apartman,ali cure čiste stalno.(tražila sam metlu pa da sama čistim taj pjesak,al osoblje inzistira da oni čiste...tako da su stalno bili na usluzi.

Pros:

the owners are my favorite thing about the whole place they made me feel at at home and safe and they were so sweet
and the crew were amazing , loved every moment of being there

Cons:

honestly the only thing I didn't like was the big dog from the hotel next to the location and the sound of the construction but I handled it

The room was well maintained, with a comfortable bed and good facilities. Housekeeping did a great job, and we always felt relaxed after a long day.

The staff were one of the highlights of our stay. Everyone was friendly, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. They made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our visit.

The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby areas and transport. It made moving around simple and stress free.

Mostly a nice place though a bit mismanaged.
Pros:

Quiet, good location near the beach, mostly helpful staff, though you need to be proactive in finding out who does what.

Fresh pool towels are provided.
Room cleaned daily, fresh towels and bedclothes. Plenty space for a couple.

Pizza and breakfast were both fine.
They don't sell beer but you can use their fridges to keep yours cool, which is a nice compromise.

Cons:

They charged us the full price of our stay as soon as we arrived, instead of at the end. It makes you feel like they don't trust you, even though the booking is guaranteed by Booking.com.

The laundry service costs $1 per item, including underwear! (it's $8 for 5kg if you bring your stuff to a local independent laundry service). We calculated it would have cost us $49 extra to use MEMs laundry service.

They tried to charge $50 us for a taxi service from Stone Town, which is at least $10 more than the normal rate I found. That's a 20% charge for making a phone call to a driver. It seems needlessly greedy.

There's no shade for any of the pool loungers: I saw several people try to enjoy them but they had to give up cos the sun is very strong for a lot of the day.
The pool loungers are a bit old and really need new cushions because they are squished, dirty and torn at the seams.

They charge you extra for water but don't tell you until the last day that it's not included in the daily charge, like other places. Not a big charge but still they should tell you it's not included in initial charge, and keep you aware that they're running a tab.

Shower water smelt like sulphur, but I don't know if that was a MEM problem or a Paje problem.

No point in complaining cos they had already charged us on Day 1. Unlikely to reverse any charges.
