Room 205 had some water problems. But the stuff solved the problem quickly.

Bed linen can improve. The cushions were a little dirty.

Cleanliness…the bathroom counters, mirrors , benches in rooms, tables tops weren’t wiped down or cleaned. Also the property continually calls and messages months in advance wanting payment upfront even when booking states pay at property. The only messages I ever received from this property are asking for payment.

The stay is not close to temple, it put me off as I had to shelve around Rs.400 to visit temple and return every time. I initially booked a standard room, but my allocated room was not maintained properly, windows were dirty, bathroom full of cobwebs. I complained about the lack of maintenance and staff was kind enough to change it to executive room, the executive room is top class, only negative is washroom, the bath area does not have a shower curtain, water comes out into the dry area.

I liked most only they could have kept bit more towels in swimming pool

- We were really looking forward to the table tennis table, but the paddles were so damaged that it wasn’t possible to play.
- A constant, droning noise that could be heard throughout the entire night.

First of all, I stayed quite a long time here and nothing bothered me. I think it's good to accept that 'India-nice' is different to nice in other parts of the world. Yes there were holes in the towels but not a big deal for me in the scheme of things here. Ashreya is a bit higher priced so to stay competitive, I'd suggest investing in a couple of changes. Soft lighting lamps next to the bed would be a big improvement at a low cost. My room had bright lighting that was all-on or all-off, not conducive to reading or relaxing before sleep. My bathroom door opened into the vanity so I had to squeeze past to get to the loo. I suggest investing in changing this to a sliding door. This would also make the bathroom feel more spacious and luxurious, in line with the price the rest of the accommodation. Lastly, it's good to know the food here is local-spicy. Although I enjoy spicy food, I needed to ask for low spice. Just a note there is a bit of construction springing up in the area so best to check the status if you're looking for peace like me. There was no noise during my stay.

I did not like the fact that the property informed me on the day of check in that they did not have any rooms for us. I did not like the fact that booking.com has not done anything about my complaint. I did not like the fact that I had to make last minute alternate arrangements for my family at place that was not to the standard that we would have preferred.

Room was very very compact for the money i paid. It was not sufficient for 2 even. Washrooms could have been better.
