Everything about this hotel is absolutely wonderful: the location, stunning view, the cleanliness and size of the rooms, the attentive staff, and, of course, the truly royal breakfasts!

A truly authentic Santorini experience — exactly what you hope for when coming to the island. Beautiful, unique room design, amazing views, a great atmosphere, and a perfect location just a 5-minute walk from the center of Oia, while still being slightly away from the busiest area.
The hotel is perfect for couples or close friends. One thing to keep in mind is that the outdoor areas are not completely private, so when using your jacuzzi or pool, you may see guests from the neighboring rooms.
What really makes this place exceptional is the staff. The service goes far beyond expectations. They help with everything — taxis, restaurants, yacht trips, beaches, local recommendations and even advice on when cruise ships arrive, so you can plan your day and avoid the crowds.
Beautiful atmosphere, music, views and genuinely wonderful people. Everything feels stylish, luxurious and very Santorini. High-season prices are high, of course, but if it fits your budget, this place is absolutely worth it. We would definitely come back.

We loved our stay at the Abyss - the room was very comfortable and the hotel is in an excellent location for access into Oia with a phenomenal view. Breakfast on our small patio was super cute. Athena and Nikolas went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable during our stay - they booked transport, dinners, our boat trip. I would definitely recommend 😀😀😀

This was, without a doubt, one of the best travel experiences of my life.
From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations. The accommodation is absolutely stunning, with spacious, beautifully designed rooms and a breathtaking view of the caldera that is simply unforgettable. Waking up to that incredible scenery every morning was a dream come true.
One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. It was absolutely delicious, generous, and beautifully presented. Having it served on the private terrace of our room while overlooking the spectacular caldera was an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect way to start each day in Santorini.
What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every single member of the team was incredibly kind, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Their professionalism, and dedication made us feel special throughout our entire stay. No request was ever too much, and they always went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect experience.
This hotel delivers everything it promises—and so much more. Every detail reflects the care and passion they put into creating an unforgettable stay for their guests.

Honestly, there was absolutely nothing we didn't like. Everything was simply perfect from beginning to end. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn't change a single thing. It is rare to find a hotel that offers such an exceptional experience in every detail.
The location is absolutely outstanding. The views over the Caldera are breathtaking, and waking up to that scenery every morning was unforgettable. Our Honeymoon Suite was beautifully designed, immaculately clean and finished with high-quality materials throughout. The atmosphere is peaceful, romantic and perfect for couples.
The biggest highlight was the staff. They are a real asset to the hotel. Communication via WhatsApp was fantastic—they responded almost immediately every time we needed anything, were genuinely friendly and always did their best to help. Their level of service was excellent. Unfortunately, many of the things we found lacking are simply facilities the hotel doesn't offer, so there was only so much they could do.
For the price we paid (around £800 per night), we expected more in terms of facilities and comfort. The breakfast is à la carte but the menu is very limited and quite plain, with nothing particularly memorable or exciting.
The outdoor furniture was disappointing. There was only one relatively small sun lounger, and the chairs were surprisingly uncomfortable considering the price point. In the Honeymoon Suite there is no separate shower—only a freestanding bath in the middle of the room. While it is beautifully made and of excellent quality, we would still have appreciated a proper shower.
The in-room amenities are very minimal. Storage space is limited, there is no room service, no restaurant, and no drinks or food available during the day. If you want lunch or even a drink while relaxing in your room, you need to leave the hotel and buy everything yourself.
The toilet is separated only by a lightweight glass door, which offers very little privacy. There is also no iron or ironing board, no laundry or pressing service, and only a small handheld garment steamer, which was not practical for steaming linen clothing and felt inadequate at this price level.
Overall, this is a beautiful boutique hotel with an incredible location and exceptional staff. However, it offers a very different experience from a traditional luxury five-star hotel, and I think that's worth knowing before booking.
The room is new, very good location near by most attractions. The pool in the room is spacious and warm unlike other hotels with cold pools. The service from the reception staff was amazing, both Athena and Nicolas helped us arranging the full trip for our stay in Santorini and they were available 24/7 , they made all the arrangements for us, checked on us and the service provided all the time. I would definitely come back mainly because of the services provided by the reception team, special thanks to Athena and Nicolas to make our stay a memorable one

A beautiful stay in the heart of Oia but away from the noise and crowds. The shops and iconic sights were a few minutes walk from the hotel. We woke up every morning to the most incredible view with breakfast served on our private terrace. I know there are many beautiful places to stay in Oia which makes it hard to choose. What sets this place apart from the others is the incredible customer service. Nikolas and Athena helped us with our every need and truly treated us as friends. We also met the owner Kostas who took the time to talk with us and get to know us. We loved spending our time in our water tub on the terrace. We were spoiled and had the most incredible trip thanks to our friends at Abyss.
The rooms were exactly as pictured . Beautiful fresh contemporary feel . The staff were incredible. So friendly and immediately felt looked after . Breakfast was delicious . Excellent location just off the main walkway to experience everything oia had to offer whilst providing a very chilled and peaceful stay
