Short stay in Beppu.
Pros:

The room is big enough which is why we booked this hotel. Simple sandwich breakfast but cheap. Free parking, quiet surrounding. Shower temperature is stable, water flow is good.

Cons:

Nothing, except they should make the hotel signage with English name and prominent.

Gut um Beppu zu besuchen.
Pros:

Der Nachhaltigkeitsgedanke. Frühstück von der lokalen Bäckerei. Kaffee von der Rösterei nebenan.
Zu Fuß ist man bei den sieben Höllen von Beppu

Sobald jemand im ersten Geschoss unachtsam läuft, hört man die Schritte in seinem Zimmer.
