We really enjoyed our stay here, thank you!
Pros:

The lady who checked us in was very helpful and spoke excellent English (not that I expect that of course!) She made a reservation for us for a private onsen which was lovely. The breakfast was nice also. The room was spacious and clean.

Cons:

The only downside I can see is the lack of a lift for luggage. This wasn’t a problem for us as we managed to lift the cases fine but it’s something to note if you are less able, requesting a bottom floor room would be beneficial.

Beppu's value for money stay
Pros:

The hotel situates slightly off the Beppu city center, but it's not really a big deal for us since we're driving most of the time. It offers an onsite carpark for free, which is basically quintessential. For us, it's only a few minutes drive from the hotel to city center if you look for supermarkets, convenient stores and restaurants and whatnot. The room is spacious with a balcony, and has the necessary amenities that you'd expect.

The breakfast is light and simple - serving sandwiches premade and placed them in your fridge the night before. It's tasty and to us it's not bad at all.

I'd say it's the cheaper option that we've researched and discovered and it's at least offering better value for money compared to others.

Super freundliche Mitarbeiter mit gutem Englisch. Gute Beratung für Restaurants und Aktivitäten. Die bequemsten Betten auf unserer ganzen Japanreise! Sehr schön eingerichtetes Zimmer mit großem Bad. Frühstück inklusive, war zwar "nur" ein Sandwich, aber von einer sehr leckeren lokalen Bäckerei. Ideal für einen schnellen Tag in den Start. Sehr ruhig trotz zentraler Lage an den Sieben Höllen von Beppu.

Cons:

Nur eine Kleinigkeit: Der Fernseher war etwas klein und vom Bett kaum zu sehen.

部屋も綺麗で、近くのおすすめのお店だったりを教えてくれるのですごく旅行客の方は助かると思います。

Felt unloved!
Pros:

Breakfast for the following morning was just a cold sandwich left in the fridge the night before.
There was no pack for lunch and towels available that was seen on YouTube videos that was promoting the hotel. That was one of the reasons we chose this hotel because of the great service which we didn't get.

Cons:

There was no phone available to call for a taxi and when we told the staff we didn't have a phone to call for a taxi the hotel didn't render any assistance.
No one greeted us when we arrive.
