We love Pivovar. Just a really cool hotel. So comfortable, clean, the absolute best location, and the rooms are so well appointed, not to mention their great restaurant next door.
Return the 2 free beers when you check in. I have told all my friends about Pivovar and then two free beers. It actually encourages us to go to the restaurant. I’ll pay $10-$15 more per night for this “gift.” We were disappointed that you were no longer doing it. It’s a cool perk. Re-think this decision please.
The rooms were gorgeous! The furniture you could tell was handmade, and I was just in awe of the beauty of their craftsmanship.
The lobby was very small, but not sure there was much that could have been done.
Walking distance to Magnolia and downtown restaurants and shops. Dedicated parking for the facility. Views of the brewery through plate glass are cool.
They charge luxury resort prices but the facility is midrange. They use window AC units, the exterior portion of which are in the incessant 'drip zone' when it rains. There are trains that run by through the night so it's loud - location hazard. The restaurant opens at 11 on the weekend and no walkable coffee shops open on Sunday morning (There is a Keurig in the room.)
The location was amazing. Right next to Magnolia which was the point of our trip there. They even let us park there before we checked in. The room was spacious and enough room for my son to slide around, which was fun to him.
The building is very noisy. There is no sound proofing to prevent you from hearing every little noise. The train comes through in the middle of the night. We were also able to hear the entire conversation of the people in the room next to us at 11:30 pm when they came back in the room. And they stayed up for a long time talking and playing music. Also there is music coming into the bathroom from the restaurant down stairs. That was weird. I didn’t sleep well due to all the noise.
Location . Friendly staff.
Location was in the middle of the town.
The king size bed matress was so hard I couldn't even sleep. To turn on the lights was confusing as well. No phone to call front desk for services.
ck in was quick
A copper bathtub in the room we booked
Proximity to the Silos
Loved the decor and the bar area- the bartender was great and those pretzels!!!
Location comfort and style
No breakfast
We love this hotel, it is beautiful, the location is excellent, the service in the restaurant is great, the food is incredible.
N/A
The uniqueness of the room.
The restaurant, selection of food and overpriced drinks.
The lobby was nice but that's all we got to see because they cancelled our stay.
When we had just gotten into Waco, we got a call from hotel staff telling us that our room's AC was out and that they'd spent all day trying to fix it but couldn't (prob just overbooked). My girlfriend had been really excited and had booked us both for the Beer Spa that evening as well. Anyway, they cancelled our room last minute and just booked us at Hotel Indigo. They didn't even offer to comp the spa or anything. Get this, for our troubles (and after our negotiating) they offered a whopping 25% coupon for the spa. Needless to say we didn't feel like hanging around for the spa so we went on over to Hotel Indigo. It's a nice, clean, run-of-the-mill hotel but the staff there were awesome and apologized profusely on behalf of Hotel Pivovar's staff. I've got to really give Indigo's staff props because they were so nice and even comped us some food & drinks when they didn't have to at all. We were just really bummed cuz we had driven all the way from Dallas and were really looking forward to our stay at Pivovar. Things like this will happen, but it's more about how they're handled, especially when it involves the hospitality industry.
The location was so central to every where we wanted to go and made getting around Waco so easy. The soaking tub was very nice. We enjoyed the decor of the rooms, it felt very unique.
We could hear noise from neighbors and outside.
Location
Location is amazing. Parking is easy. Plenty of space in suites for 6 people. The suite rooms are only connected by a small entryway. Artisan water dispenser in the hallway was nice.
The beds are VERY hard. Also the beds look very plush in pictures but they are not at all. There was only a THIN waffle knit blanket. No duvet. I would still stay here again but I would ask for a real blanket. Last, there is a lot of noise, random banging, sound of the cars going over the train tracks. Train crossing right beside the hotel. Maybe the 3rd floor would be less noisy. Sound machine helps a ton. I would recommend them be added to all the rooms. Luckily I travel with one.
I really like the hotel and location.
I was really disappointed that the restaurant and bar were closed. I last stayed there 2 years ago on a Tuesday night for the same conference and really enjoyed the restaurant and bar. So much that we have been back each time we've been to or driving through Waco and it played a significant role in booking the hotel this trip.
It was also quite difficult to sleep well with an extreme amount of noise coming from some sort of equipment adjacent to my room. I believe it was room 26 on the third floor.
Room size was good, as was the furniture
Trains throughout the night. Poor customer service training - void of attention or politeness
