Important information:

Volcano View Hotel participates in the Greek Breakfast Initiative by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels.

Please also note that the villas operate for most of the winter season. The winter villa package operates on a self catering basis with once daily maid service only. Summer services like 24-hour reception and free shuttle bus to town are not included in the winter. Breakfast is also not included since the hotel restaurant is closed. The villa manager will greet arriving guests and will be available 24 hours for any assistance you may require.

For reservations affected by covid19 , if you will not be able to travel on the specific reserved dates, you will be provided the option to modify your reservations for new dates free of charge based on availability or receive voucher for the use of the amount on future dates.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Nice views, friendly staff needs to work on cleanliness
Pros:

Beautiful views, and the staff was very friendly and helpful my entire stay there

Cons:

There was mold in different parts of my room, especially in both bathrooms which is a health concern. I didn’t like how the toilets continuously run after you use them and you have to keep pushing on them to try and get the water to stop running. Also, they provide shuttle service however it only runs every so often which is very inconvenient so you have to pay the taxi service which is €15 if you miss it.

The views are amazing and the staff were fantastic, specifically the waiter Petros.

Cons:

The hotel arranged taxi transfer failed to pick us up when we arrived by ferry. We had to arrange our own transport. The hotel was ok but was certainly not a 5 star or even a 4 star establishment. Rooms were very basic and not properly cleaned (hair all over the place), bottled water & coffee pods in the rooms was not replaced daily. Cappuccinos at breakfast was an extra charge. The hotel shuttle into Fira ran infrequently and finished too early at 8pm.

Gorgeous view, amazing staff, lovely atmosphere
Pros:

This was my third time staying at Volcano view and I loved every minute of my stay as always! :)

The food is fantastic. The view is breathtaking and I still am amazed at what a good location the hotel is right at the edge of the caldera.

The live music evening is a highlight.

The staff are consistently fantastic. A special mention to the manager who is present and always ensuring guests are well looked after. And the breakfast staff Petros, Kostis and George at the pool.

Thank you again for a wonderful stay! :)

5 star luxury hotel.
Pros:

This still is my favourite hotel in the world.

Everything about it is 5 stars. The location. The staff. The rooms.

I keep coming back and there’s a reason! It’s a consistent 5 star luxury holiday at the edge of the Caldera. The pools are amazing.

Great views, great service
Pros:

I don't know that I have ever had a more helpful staff. We traveled with a group and they catered to our needs, made helpful suggestions and stayed involved in making our stay wonderful.
Location - It's a little more that a mile from Fira but they have a shuttle and it was great to stay away from town and have unobstructed views of the caldera.
the property - Wow. every bit as pretty as the pictures. great views from the rooms, restaurant, pools.
