A lovely place with great views
Pros:

I only stayed here for one night, but the room was large and clean with a good view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ate a light meal in the evening which was good and the dining area had a great view too.

Cons:

It's quite a steep drive to access the property and access to the reception and dining area is via stairs. Also the bathroom for the room was on a different floor to the bed - I assume to make the most of the view from the room. Not really a problem, but mentioning it for anyone who has special accessibility requirements or who struggles with stairs for any reason.

La chambre est très belle, style industriel, grande et très propre. La terrasse est agréable. Nous avons mangé un délicieux Kottu au restaurant.

This is a really lovely hotel. The room is lovely and clean and spacious with everything you need, but the restaurant space is even better- due to the wonderful staff. The staff are so friendly and sweet and attentive. They really do offer an exceptional breakfast. We looked forward to breakfast each day. The location is nice in that it is above the lake so you can look over and see and hear all the beautiful birds each morning and evening before sunset. The area is also close to restaurants and other attractions. The staff kindly arranged transport for us to Ella and provided fresh water each day and asked if we required a room clean.

Cons:

Nothing not to like.

Pros:

Frühstück und Dinner waren sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Sehr zentrale Lage, dadurch natürlich etwas lauter (Straßenlärm), was aber nicht schlimm war. Super schöner Blick über den Kandy Lake und auf den Zahntempel.

Lovely place to stay in Kandy!
Pros:

Accommodation was lovely, with very comfortable beds and a great view of Kandy Lake. The staff were really friendly and helped arrange tuk-tuks whenever we needed them. Breakfast was yummy and very generous as well.

Cons:

The only downside is the hill to reach the property, which can be a bit steep.

Großartige Lage direkt am Kandysee und in nur wenigen Minuten ist man am Zahntempel. Das Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr gut und das gesamte Personaö sehr freundlich.

Do not hesitate to book - perfection!
Pros:

Everything was perfect. A lot of reviews talk about the access up a steep driveway to get to the property - DO NOT let this put you off booking here. It is normal for the area especially if you want a good view and most tuk tuks and cars go up just fine. The location itself was fantastic, short walking distance to Kandy city centre, the market and temple but still quiet you didn't get noise from the traffic. The room itself was beautiful (we upgraded to the most deluxe option and it was 100% worth it). Everything was modern, large room size, bigbcomfy bed, fantastic hot and cold shower. The service was phenomenal and the breakfast was the biggest we have had whilst in Sri Lanka.

Spacious, clean room with amazing views
Pros:

Excellent location, very convenient for exploring Kandy. We booked a room with lake views, and waking up to that scenery was absolutely worth it. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable.

Breakfast was incredible (we tried the local one), easily one of the best of our trip.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The overall ambiance of the hotel is relaxing and charming.

Cons:

The room had minor maintenance issues, such as a crack in the wall, the terrace door didn’t close properly at the bottom, and a few bugs got in.

Lake view room with excellent views. Quiet spot 5-10 mins walk from downtown. Room very comfortable with a/c, fan, fridge, mini bar & tv. Small restaurant area and plentiful breakfast.

Rustig verblijf in een drukke stad
Pros:

Geweldige locatie in Kandy. Heel mooi uitzicht over het meer en de tempel. Je kunt lopend in enkele minuten om het meer naar de tempel. Die tempel moet je echt bezoeken.
Erg vriendelijke en behulpzame medewerkers. Je voelt je meteen op je gemak. De steile heuvel is prima te doen. Wij reden met een eigen tuktuk en hadden er geen enkel probleem mee. De kamer is ruim en hygiënisch. Super goed srikankaans diner en het ontbijt was ook geweldig. Het hotel is echt een aanrader, ontspannen sfeer in een vrij drukke stad.
