Property in the centre of the city
Pros:

Location is good. Close to the centre of the city. Breakfast is very good with nice setting and very good service. Staff is very nice.

Cons:

This property located on the steep hill and you need to be fit to walk up. Also, the bathroom located on the first floor, but bedroom is on the second floor. You need to walk 15 steps between it. So, you need to be fit. We didn’t have a problem with it, but I just to want other people know that it could be a problem.

Pros:

Bel hôtel mais quelques loupés...
Pros:

Les chambres avec balcon et vue sur le lac
L'emplacement à 2 pas du centre ville
La propreté et la décoration

Cons:

Nous avions réservé une chambre pour 2 adultes et 2 adolescents de 12 et 17 ans et a notre arrivée, il n'y avait que 2 lits (1 grand et 1 petit)
Nous avons dû dormir à 3 dans 1 lit!
L'hôtel a trouvé une solution uniquement pour la 2eme nuit.
Des bouteilles d'eau fermées seraient les bienvenues dans les chambres.
Une carte au restaurant avec beaucoup de plats finalement non disponibles.
Un peu décevant pour le prix...

Brilliant view, and incredible staff. We had zero issues with our stay and would highly recommend.

Fantastisch!
Pros:

SUPER!! Wat een fantastische kamer. Mooi balkon. Kundig en behulpzaam personeel. Royaal ontbijt en gehele dag in het restaurant terecht kunnen. De koffie kan bezorgd worden in je appartementje. Zeer tevreden. Lopend naar het centrum is prima te doen.

L'hôtel n'avait pas prévu le nombre de lits nécessaires pour toutes les personnes.
Une famille de 4 est un lit double et un lit simple !! Tous les plats sur la carte n'étaient pas disponibles.
Bref je ne recommande pas cet hôtel.

Pros:

The location is amazing, the view from our balcony was great. We loved the tuk tuk service to the bus stand.
The room was very comfortable and spacious . There was loads of space to store our things, all the equipment was present and great for usage.
The area where the lodge is placed is located in between buildings but you don’t feel it at all because it's located in a slope and they have made the area so beautiful with flowers and trees that it feels like you are in a jungle. It is very beautiful to spend some time on the terrace just to enjoy the animals that come by.

Cons:

As soon as we walked in we felt like we were trapped in this touristic cage where we were asked so many things about what we are doing, how much we paid, what is our itinerary.. all in the first 10 minutes there. We didn't have a lot of room to just breathe when we were sitting in the restaurant.
Also the breakfast in the restaurant in the morning was really delicious, however we felt very overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people coming to our table to talk to us (wanting to know everything) or serve us or to clean up. It all felt way too much..
Although this was also our general feeling about Kandy. We all just look like tourist to them with big money banks, which is a bit sad.

Pros:

The best hotel in all of Sri Lanka! Book it bow! I can't say anything more. Breakfast,room,people from the hotel all fantastic!
P.S. I had booked one night there and after I got there I changed all my trip program and stayed one extra night!

Zeer nette kamer op een goede locatie
Pros:

Zeer degelijk hotel met beleefde bediening, een ruime kamer en heel nette badkamer. Via een klein wegje daal je af en kom je meteen aan het water uit op wandelafstand van het levendige centrum van Kandy. We vroegen enkele kleren te wassen, in de avond kregen we ze fris gewassen en mooi geplooid al terug.

Pros:

We had a lovely stay at SWP eco lodge. Excellent location l, walking distance to city center and right next to the lake. The room was superb - best sleep of our holiday in this bed! Important to note that there is a steep driveway up to the accommodation, and stairs in our room also. The hosts were very helpful with booking tickets for the show and taking us there with their tuk tuk. Great stay in Kandy.
