Rustig hotel in een heel druk Kandy.
Zicht op het meer.
Mooi gelegen. Te bereiken via een steil oplopende weg. Het restaurant van het hotel serveert lekker Sri Lankaans eten.

Zentrumsnah mit tollem Ausblick
Pros:

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral, so dass man ohne Tuk Tuk zum Tempel oder in die City laufen kann. Die Ausstattung der Räume ist gut und das Frühstück auf der Terrasse sehr lecker.

Cons:

Irritierend fanden wir, dass der Kaffee zum Frühstück (welches lecker und vielfältig ist) extra berechnet wurde. Das kannten wir so nicht und empfinden es auch als unpassend. Tee war im Frühstückspreis inklusive.
Es sollte Gästen bewusst sein, dass der Zugang zur Unterkunft sehr steil ist. Auch zwischen Schlafraum und Bad sind viele Stufen zu gehen. Für uns war das kein Problem, aber wer beim Gehen unsicher ist, sollte das wissen.

La collocazione con la vista sul lago di Kandy che ti permetteva di raggiungere il centro in 5 minuti a piedi.

Cons:

La difficoltà di comunicazione e comprensione nelle richieste in lingua inglese che è da parte del personale risultato basilare.
Abbiamo aggiunto la colazione e per il costo richiesto mi aspettavo più offerta avendomi informato della colazione continentale e non cingalese.

Prachtige plek in Kandy
Pros:

Hele mooie locatie wat hoger gelegen. Alhoewel je de geluiden van de stad wel hoort. Op loopafstand van de stad. Hele fijne ruime kamer met fijne bedden en goede douche. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt. Kandy zelf vond ik minder leuk door de drukte. Maar aan de accommodatie ligt dat niet want die is super.

Pros:

Prima verblijf en best dicht bij het centrum. Vriendelijk personeel en goed ontbijt.

Cons:

Laatste 100 meter is een hele steile klim, maar kon prima met de tuktuk.

The view from this hotel is absolutely divine. We spent a couple of afternoons simply bird watching on the balcony as the view was so rich of the lake. The location was also very handy. The room was comfortable and a good side. Breakfast was very nice. Staff were also very warm.

Cons:

We stayed for four days and there was no offer to clean the room during this time. I think three days is probably the maximum time I would expect to go without an offer to clean the room. Also, there was one member of staff, although lovely, who was quite insistent with helping make our plans. We were grateful for the offer, but prices often were not competitive and the details often unclear.

Pros:

Nous avons séjourné une nuit et nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Le logement est très bien situé proche du lac, du temple dans un environnement calme. La vue sur le lac est un large plus.

La chambre était très spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner était très copieux et les repas bons.

La montée pour atteindre la réception ;)
