No había desayuno disponible en el hotel. Solo café, que te servias tu misma. Tuvimos que pedirle a otro huésped, que había encargado su desayuno fuera, que nos compartiera el número para poder pedir nosotras también. Después de eso, tuvimos que esperar más de media hora para que llegara. Ese mismo huésped terminó dándonos también el contacto de la chica encargada para que viniera a hacer el checkout.
Desde nuestra llegada nunca había nadie en la recepción; tuvimos que llamar por teléfono para que nos atendieran. Al marcharnos ocurrió lo mismo: no había nadie disponible para pagar. Pedimos información sobre tours y no supieron orientarnos. Además, cuando llovió, el comedor se inundó de agua. En la habitación entró una cucaracha enorme y, para evitar que entraran más, tuvimos que tapar con una cobija el amplio hueco que había bajo la puerta. Nos sentimos completamente solas en el hotel y la experiencia fue muy desagradable. Al día siguiente, sin dudarlo, buscamos otro lugar y nos fuimos.
The location away from the main road was nice which made it quiet. The hotel was comfortable and clean and had good a/c.
We had a small issue in the morning related to breakfast and paying for our room. It was advertised as being included, but there was no hostess present in the morning. We made some instant coffee and waited until 8 a.m. to leave, but still no one had arrived. We ended up grabbing a bite to eat at a nearby bakery and returned later to pay, but the doors were locked and no one was there.
Fortunately, we were able to reach the hostess via WhatsApp and arranged to pay at our next hotel in Mocoa. She was very kind, and I’m sure something unexpected must have come up on her end. In hindsight, we could have communicated our early departure more clearly upon check-in.
I would still recommend this place. it’s lovely overall just be sure to communicate in advance if you need to leave early or are counting on breakfast.
Booked last minute and the owner opened up the hotel for us. It has a guest kitchen and is very calm and comfortable. The staff were brilliant, and ended up sending us some things via post that we had left behind. Superb little find.
Good part of town, all types of bars and restaurants nearby. The place has 8 double rooms with a comunal kitchen. It feels like having a hotel room with the option to get to know people like a hostel. The staff there for the day were great and at night you can come and go as you please. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a.couple of nights.
Perfect base in Mocoa. The owner was wonderful and really friendly. She helped us with transport and suggestions for places to eat. Would highly recommend staying here.
