Cons:

Cu toate ca esti relativ aproape de lac si de templu, din cauza dealului, depind mereu de tuk-tuk
Ar trebui facata o mica renovarare :)

Pros:

Aardig personeel, die heerlijke ontbijtjes maakten. De accommodatie is basic, maar echt prima. Het water moet je even laten lopen zodat het warm wordt. De badkamer is vrij klein, de bedden liggen prima.

Comfortable, quiet and charming with potential for improvements
Pros:

The triple rooms are spacious and very clean. The bathrooms are good with shower door and all is spot clean. The location is very quiet and close to Kandy city center, only 1km and makes for a nice walk. Staff is attentive and friendly and always around. They kindly let us eat our take-out on the terrace and even provided us plates and cutleries. That was really appreciated.

Cons:

TV didn’t work. The fridges were ugly and need urgent replacement. At some point the staff took away our A/C remote without explanation… so we couldn’t control it for the whole night. The rooms could use mosquito nets over the beds. We got a lot of bites during our stay. Breakfast is just fruits and toast and eggs. We preferred to have our breakfast in town.

Hmmm not so good
Pros:

Bed was comfortable. Not too expensive.

Cons:

Location is Ok, hotel has a lot of stairs. With heavy luggage not easy. Room was not so clean. Wouldnt stay again.

Lovely stay
Pros:

Very friendly, attentive staff. One of them is a very good cook.
A very nice city hotel.
Beautiful terrace of the restaurant, with view over the town.
Beautiful room with terrace. Comfortable chairs.
Shower is separated so that not the whole bathroom is wet.

Budget with a View
Pros:

Staff was excellent, made me a vegan breakfast, really made me feel safe. Very friendly and accommodating. Incredible view!

Cons:

Random construction going on that would often begin around 6 or 7 am. Shower took a bit of time to heat up, but fortunately did eventually. Noise from nearby pool giving swimming lessons.
