Rezeption sehr weit weg und kein Transport zwischen Rezeption und Zimmern.

Ωραία τοποθεσία, καλή παραλία, άνετα δωμάτια, προσωπικό πρόθυμο αλλά ελλιπές και με δυσκολία συντονισμού σε πολλές περιπτώσεις, με εξαίρεση το εστιατόριο όπου οι σερβιτόροι ήταν πολύ καλοί

Η δυσλειτουργία στην reception, η μέτρια συντήρηση πολλών παλιών εγκαστάσεων που δεν συνάδουν με ξενοδοχείο τεσσάρων αστέρων, όπως και το φαγητά που θα έπρεπε να ήταν καλύτερο. Το ξενοδοχείο γενικώς χρειάζεται περισσότερη φροντίδα, ώστε να είναι αντάξιο των χρημάτων στα οποία προσφέρονταί τα δωμάτια.

Vacances en amoureux en Crête
Pros:

Emplacement idéal aux bord de la mer, et tout près des restaurants.
Belle plage privée, superbe piscine, beaux extérieurs végétalités.
Le buffet du déjeuner extraordinaire ou tout etait juste trop bon.
Le personnel très serviable et sympathique.
Notre suite triple nous offrait une superbe vue sur la mer avec en prime le soir, le coucher du soleil.
Ce fut un très beau séjour dans cet hôtel.

Cons:

Il manquait juste une petite machine à café dans la chambre.

Not worthy of 4 stars. Very inconsistent service. Bare minimal toiletries and they don’t replenish you have to ask and l was told it’s only on arrival then you have to buy. My daughter’s room was refilled. No coffee tea facility in the room no iron. For a 4 star rating you would think it was part of the stay. Towels didn’t smell to good either. Buffett breakfast was a let down as well. Nothing was labelled and very few choices in general. WiFi is very poor. It’s a shame such a beautiful location and resort to be not well managed. My grandson wet the bed and we were told we had to wait to the next day to get the sheets changed house keeping finished at 2pm. My daughter asked for fresh sheets and they were brought up in our absence and dumped on the bed. Well overpriced for what you get.

ממליצה בחום לבקר במלון, פשוט כיף ועונה על ההגדרה של חופשה!!!

כבר בהגעה למלון קיבלו את פנינו בחיוך, הסבירו במפורט על המקום, ליוו אותנו לכל חדר. המיקום של המלון וואו! חצי שעה משדה התעופה ברכב, על חוף הים, גישה קלה ונוחה. בריכת השחייה גדולה ממש ארוחת הבוקר הייתה מגוונת מאד ומצוינת. הצוות אדיב ממש!! החדר היה נקי ובמהלך כל השהות הקפידו לנקות ולוודא שאנחנו מרוצים. מלון Kernos תודה רבה לכם!!! בוודאות נשוב למקום.

Leider konnten wir mit unserem Aufenthalt im Kernos Beach Hotel nicht die Erwartungen erfüllt sehen, die wir bei einem Haus dieser Kategorie und Preisklasse hatten.

Der Empfang spätabends verlief wenig professionell – nach dem Check-in mussten wir über 15 Minuten warten, bis uns jemand zum Zimmer begleitete. Eine persönliche Begrüssung oder grundlegende Informationen zu Frühstückszeiten, Hotelangeboten oder dem Areal blieben aus. Der einzige Hinweis, den wir beim Begleiten ins Zimmer erhielten, war, dass die Klimaanlage “nicht angerührt werden sollte, da sie nicht gut funktioniert” – man könne sie entweder ein- oder ausschalten.

Im Laufe unseres Aufenthalts liess die Sauberkeit zunehmend nach. Unter dem Bett gab es Staub und Spinnweben, und trotz Hinweis an der Rezeption wurde dies nicht behoben. Auch die Qualität der Liegen am Strand entspricht nicht dem Anspruch eines 4*-Resorts – viele sind abgenutzt und bieten kaum Komfort.

Kulinarisch bietet das Hotel eine Halbpension, die leider stark auf Masse statt Klasse setzt. Viele Speisen wirkten wie Fertigprodukte oder Convenience-Lösungen, die wenig mit frischer, saisonaler oder gar regionaler Küche zu tun haben. Die Präsentation und Qualität (!) der Speisen lassen keinerlei Leidenschaft für Gastronomie erkennen (siehe Bilder) – das ist schade, zumal die gastronomische Vielfalt auf Kreta weit mehr Potenzial bieten würde. Im Hinblick auf die Hygiene wirft dies auch Fragen auf.

Das Personal war bis auf einzelne Ausnahmen freundlich, jedoch klar unterbesetzt. Dies betrifft sowohl den Service im Restaurant als auch die Reinigung. Insofern möchte ich an dieser Stelle kein direktes Urteil über die Mitarbeitenden fällen – eher das Management hinterfragen, das offenbar nicht ausreichend in Ressourcen und Standards investiert.

Beim Check-out kam es zu Unklarheiten mit der Rechnung, weshalb wir ins Büro des Rooms Division Managers gebeten wurden.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in July. The staff were incredibly friendly and supportive throughout our visit. Whenever we had questions, they were always there to help.
When we arrived, our room had two single beds instead of a king-size bed. We requested a room change the next morning, and the staff quickly arranged a different room for us—with an amazing sea view.
The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options at both breakfast and dinner, so everyone could easily find something to their liking.
On the whole, we were very satisfied with our choice. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a stay in Malia, Crete!

Pros:

Perfect location, beautiful pool, great beach, problems resolved quickly.

Cons:

Poor internet signal in room, too many people for the restaurant to cater for, not enough staff to serve coffee, clear plates or sign for drinks. Lottery whether there was a free table.
Swimming pool was full of people who like nothing better than to throw a ball at each other with no regard for other guests. A sign saying no ball games will resolve this, no lifeguard to control the pool area. Not enough sun loungers for everyone on the beach or around the pool.

Total dissapointment
Pros:

The location was nice, close to the restaurants and good beaches. Parking was easy, there was always a spot to park.

Cons:

- First of all, air conditioning was big problem for sure ( we were staying in bungalow with sea view). It was working full day (we were leaving the hotel card in the room while leaving), but the room was still too hot (27C in the best version). We have already informed the reception few times but nothing has changed. And the communication was also very bad, if you don’t ask anything, nobody informed you back.
- Breakfast was so poor. If you would like to get coffee, you need to try to catch staff but it was not easy. And getting another cup of coffee was even worse. The variety in the breakfast was also poor, the cheese melting due to weather and nobody checks or changes anything.
- The room and facilities were also not clean and very old. I haven’t seen any travel cot that much old, and the linens, towels always have some stains. When they change it, it was same, different stains and not smelling clean.
- The hotel has private beach, but maybe it was our luck, it was all windy for 5 days out of 7. We had to go outside to find a place to swim.
