Pros:

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine au High Beach Resort de Malia. La chambre était parfaite, la plage très agréable et très proche (avec l'avantage exceptionnel pour notre chambre de transats réservés), les buffets généreux et diversifiés sur une semaine, les installations efficaces, l'animation présente sans être envahissante. La localisation permet également de visiter sans souci Héraclion, les sites minoéns de Cnossos et de Malia, ou la vieille ville de Malia. Mais surtout le personnel de l'hôtel fait honneur à l'hospitalité grecque, tout le monde est très agréable et très disponible, que ce soit à l'accueil, aux restaurants, aux bars, au service de ménage, au spa, etc. Mention spéciale à Didi, qui pilote le spa, et à Théophilos, au restaurant, pour leur extrême gentillesse, ainsi qu'aux différentes personnes du buffet et du bar. L'établissement est bien fréquentée.

Cons:

Si la plage est parfaitement calme le matin, les établissements voisins sont un peu plus bruyants l'aprés-midi (mais ce n'est pas du ressort du High Beach Resort).

Amazing place for Celiac disease
Pros:

As a person with celiac disease- this hotel did the best with taking care of my dietary needs, for this vacation i felt “normal”
Thanks to the chef and hotel crew

Cons:

The only minus i can think of is weak water pressure in shower( that’s kind of issue pretty normal to Europe)

Pros:

היינו 5 חברים בני 17, הצוות היה מדהים ! אדיבים ונחמדים, ונתנו הרגשה מאד נוחה לאורך כל השהות.
המיקום מעולה, ליד כל המועדונים, הבריכות של המלון ממש שוות, וגם הבר.
הזמנו דרך המלון גם את האטרקציות, זה היה מאד נח.

Cons:

ארוחת הבוקר פחות מותאמת לקהל הישראלי (גם היהודי וגם המוסלמי),
אבל היתה עשירה ומגוונת למי שאוכל הכל ללא הגבלות מסויימות :)

There was no problem during the stay. Everything was fine. A beautiful hotel with a beautiful garden right by the sea. Excellent access by all the staff from reception, restaurant and bar service to room service. At the beginning of the season (a week during Easter) the hotel was well occupied. The food in the restaurants was excellent and everything was plentiful. The day before our arrival, Crete was hit by sand from the Sahara. It was a disaster for housekeeping, but they managed everything to perfection, removing the consequences even during our stay. Our Deluxe room was nice and comfortable with a spacious bathroom. The evening sitting at the bar with an animation program was very pleasant. There were 4 swimming pools in the area, the one closest to the sea was heated, which we appreciated in April. In the summer season Malia will probably be very noisy, but at the beginning of the season it was quiet. Throughout our stay my wife and I got to know Crete and coming back to this hotel is like a balm for the soul. On the evening return to the hotel we hoped to park in the hotel parking lot, which is very busy in the evening, but we always somehow managed. This hotel I highly and without any doubt recommend to everyone!

Un super séjour farniente
Pros:

La qualité des installations, la propreté, la proximité avec la plage, la gentillesse du personnel, le restaurant grec avec très bonne cuisine et magnifique vue (mention spéciale au serveur Theofilos).

Cons:

Bon buffet de manière générale, mais à mon goût manque de spécialités grecques. C’est pourquoi, nous avons beaucoup apprécié le restaurant grec.

Gute Lage, schöne Anlage, gutes Essen, empfehlenswert.
Pros:

Die Lage ist super nahe am Strand, Personal freundlich, das Essen gut. Ausserdem ist das Hotel auch sonst in Malia gut gelegen, etwas unterhalb vom Party-Strip, dass man seine Ruhe hat wenn man möchte, und dennoch ist man in wenigen Minuten dort, oder in ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuss in der kleinen Altstadt von Malia.

Cons:

Die Sonnenschirme am Strand lassen sich nicht verschieben oder im Winkel abneigen, sodass im Herbst, wenn die Sonne tiefer steht, man stark mit dem Schatten mitwandern muss, wenn man im Schatten liegen möchte. Wir wurden bei der Ankunft nicht über die gesamte Anlage augeklärt, wie alles genau bei Ihnen funktioniert und abläuft. Man kann sich diese Informationen aber selbst am Hotel-TV oder durch nachfragen aneignen. Wäre aber toll wenn das gleich alles bei der Ankunft durchgegangen wird.

During our trip to Greece we stayed at 3 different properties and this had a good location if you are looking for a lively scene especially at night. The beach was beautiful but pretty busy and packed with people. We received a free room upgrade at check in which was spectacular and came with designated beach chairs.

Cons:

There is room to improve with food options specifically breakfast out of the 3 resorts we stayed the breakfast was my least favorite.
