Good hotel in a great location. Breakfast is outstanding!
Pros:

Location on the port was very convenient. Rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfast on the roof was outstanding!

Cons:

Don't book this hotel if you aren't willing to climb steep steps.
The hotel was having infrastructure problems during our visit. Electricity went off twice for several hours.

Excellent stay in a great location.
Pros:

Breakfast was OK, everything else was great. Staff all super friendly, location can’t get any better than it is. It’s right in the middle of everything, right on the water overlooking the little harbor. Our room was huge and very comfortable with a great view of the harbor.

Cons:

The WiFi was good when it worked, but we had several periods when it was so slow that it was not really useable.

Pros:

The Hotel is in Prime Location with Great Views! Juliet was so helpful and loved having breakfast each morning on the rooftop which has Amazing Views!

Cons:

There is many stairs in this one property which can be challenging if you have a lot of luggage.., But They have three other properties if preferred.

Cons:

L'accès par l'escalier envahi de pigeons qui salissent toutes les marches et la rampe par leurs déjections. J'ai reçu une crotte sur le bras en montant à la chambre. C'est vraiment dégoutant. Il faudrait couvrir l'accès par un toit ou empêcher les pigeons de traîner là.

A perfect boutique hotel capturing the essence of Hydra.
Pros:

A beautifully appointed gem, classically decorated large clean rooms with port facing windows. The wonderful rooftop provided a marvellous panoramic vantage point of the harbour activities where breakfast is served showcasing divine local honey. Julietta was genuinely very welcoming and provided excellent recommendations on exploring this delightful town.

Great location and views!!
Pros:

The location of the Douskos Port House was excellent, and the harbor view from our room was amazing!!
The rooftop had great views as well, where we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast. Communication was great with the property manager, and we were able to store our bags before and after check in!

Cons:

For us, the stairs weren't an issue, but it could be a lot for some to have to climb the 30+ stairs to get up to the hotel.
Bathroom needed an update, as the floors had some bad stains on them.

Pros:

Location was excellent. Nice room but let down by small details. No spare toilet paper. Had to ask for additional supplies. After first morning the capsules of milk ran out. Had to ask for more

Adequate accommodation on the Hydra port.
Pros:

A small hotel right on the port in Hydra. Small room, no views, but we needed it for a night, and it was adequate. Breakfast was very nice, and served on a rooftop site with wonderful views of the port and surrounds. Staff were happy to accommodate our late arrival on the last ferry of the day.

Cons:

Quite noisy - other guests easily heard.

Genial und einfach traumhaft!
Pros:

Ein malerischer Ort, mit einem wunderschönen kleinen Hafen. Unsere Unterkunft lag direkt am Hafen und wir hatten 3 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Quartier.. Dort wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen. Unser Zimmer war groß, mit einem Traumblick auf den Hafen und die gegenüberliegende Seite. Alles war liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber und die Dachterrasse, war außergewöhnlich! Dort haben wir auch ein umfangreiches, tolles Frühstück eingenommen. Es gab (fast) alles, was das Herz begehrt. Alles war im Zimmer vorhanden. Wasser zur Begrüßung, Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Dusch- und Badutensilien u. a.. Selbstversorgung, wie in einer FeWo wäre ebenfalls möglich. Für diese tolle Unterkunft nimmt man auch die steile, enge Treppe in Kauf, also für gehbehinderte Menschen eher nicht geeignet. Für uns jedoch hat alles gepasst und wir haben eine tolle Zeit hier verbracht und kommen sicherlich wieder dorthin!

Für uns war alles in Ordnung und wir wollen und können nichts bemängeln!

Beautiful view.
Beach towels and iron (for wife).

Cons:

Lack of shade on the roof for breakfast.
Steps. Be prepared to walk up a steep flight of steps with bags.

Beautiful location, staff were exceptional, just a few improvements.
Pros:

Great location close to the main port

Cons:

We had 2 cockroaches in our room. Safe was locked on arrival and we were unable to use. Toilets became very stinky with lack of ventilation. Difficult to climb stairs with suitcases but we were pre-warned about this.
