The location is excellent, very close to tue ferry. The room and bathroom are ok and clean. Breakfast is good, with good coffee. You can sit inside or outside, and there is a large terrace. The staff are very friendly.
It is an older hotel with outdated rooms that are urgently in need of renovation. Our room had a heavy, reinforced-looking door. You could almost think they were expecting a Russian invasion! 😉 Our room overlooked the patio, offering a beautiful view and a small private terrace. Unfortunately, it was noisy from early in the morning, as groups of guests gathered in the patio. At 8:30 a.m., housekeeping was already knocking on our door to clean the room, even though we were only staying for one night. The fridge was also so noisy that we eventually unplugged it. We also found the bed far too hard. We arrived by ferry at around 2:30 a.m. and wanted nothing more than to get to bed as quickly as possible. However, we first had to fill out several forms, even though Booking.com already had all our details. Why was this necessary? There were three couples ahead of us, and each received a lengthy individual explanation about the air conditioning, breakfast, excursions, and other practical information. The lady at reception was very friendly, but is such a detailed explanation really necessary in the middle of the night, when guests are exhausted after a long journey and just want to sleep? Surely the check-in process could be made much simpler and more efficient!

We have been vacationing at this hotel for 5 years in a row. It is the best hotel on the island. The food is excellent, the service is wonderful, and everything—from the linens to the hotel premises and the rooms themselves—is kept perfectly clean. The hotel team is a close-knit group, always ready to help and cater to any of your requests. The location is fantastic. We find ourselves wanting to return to this hotel again and again. We look forward to our next visit.
