Excellent hospitality in a delightful hidden gem.
Pros:

We found this hotel to be exceptional in so many ways. It’s perfectly located on the harbour yet set back from the road so that it feels quiet and peaceful. It’s just minutes walk to a plethora of shops, bars and restaurants and about a 20 minute hike to the Cave of the Revelation. The beautiful citrus trees, flowers and vines in the grounds create a scented, natural oasis of relaxation. The interior of the hotel is tastefully decorated with many cultural touches. Our ground floor room was simple yet perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the view of the harbour and pool. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with multiple delicious options and good coffee. The hotel pool is a lovely salt water pool with plenty of sun and shade while we were there. Most of all the staff, and the welcome they provide, were unmatched by anyone else on our trip. We found them to be extremely helpful, informative, generous and kind, bringing in depth local knowledge and ensuring we had all we needed and more. We would highly recommend this hotel to visitors and hope to return ourselves for a longer stay in the future.

Cons:

Just a note that tv channels were primarily Greek but the hotel had excellent Wi-Fi for those with their own devices.

Pros:

The best hotel on the island. Close to the port, in the city center. Delicious breakfasts. Friendly staff, always ready to help with any questions. This is our fourth stay here. The service is, as always, excellent.

Patmos Palace
Pros:

Firstly, Ariadne took us in and provided a wonderful experience. The hotel is well located and we had fantastic views across the bay from our room. Our room was large and very well appointed. Oh, the pool has a swim up bar! Yamas!

The Skala hotel is a jewel! Beautiful property tucked away behind a whimsical tunnel of flowers and flowering shrubbery. Literally walking distance from the port. Beautiful room with picturesque balconies overlooking the Aegean Sea. The breakfast had sooooo many delicious options and the property is beautifully and historically/culturally decorated. THE STAFF IS THE BEST EVER! Ariadne absolutely stole our hearts! Super nice, very informative and quite accommodating. We're going back to Patmos-just because of her (and her colleagues) and our quick but fantastic stay at the Skala hotel.
