The Place to Stay.
Pros:

The location is excellent. Right at the center, which makes all the usual sites easy to reach. Less than 2 minutes walk from the Port. The hosts were wonderful in everyway.

We recommend Villa Zacharo to every visitor of Skala, Patmos
Pros:

We stayed at this place two nights. Its location is impossible to overestimate in many respects. It was convenient to pursue the legendary places of Patmos in the mountain. There is a shop right next to it. The ferry station is five minutes on foot away from it. In addition, the place has also a complimentary breakfast. The room we occupied was comfortable and with a terrace to boot. The personal was friendly in a way one does not encounter in a big cities.

Cons:

There was nothing that could provoke our complain.

Pros:

Location was very good. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff were very helpful. They even dropped our bags down to the port!! The rooms had everything we needed plus a fridge.

Cons:

Being on the main road up to Chora, it was pretty noisy. We also had a couple of businesses across the road that were rather loud!

Liked the location. I liked the views from our room. I liked the small breakfast at 8am. I liked the information provided. I liked thecreferral to hire a scooter.

Cons:

I didn't like the road noise as had to shut the windows xnd turn on air-conditioning. I didn't like that they did not change the towels every day. Had to hang the towel on balcony to dry.

Immerwieder gerne, sehr empfehlenswert! Ideal für die Pilgerfahrt
Pros:

Sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter, einfühlsamer Gastgeber, Top-Lage, morgens gesundes Frühstück, tolle Wohnung (unsere war die ganze Suite), gute Atmosphäre, direkt gegenüber des Hotels ein „Car-Rente“, es gibt Parkmöglichkeit… Die Insel ist wirklich idyllisch!

Wer in der Villa Zacharo als preisbewusster Gast ein Zimmer bucht, kann nichts falsch machen.
Pros:

Es war der Aufenthalt, den wir auf unserer 16-tägigen Dodekanes-Island-Hopping-Tour nicht nur wegen der ansprechenden Zimmerausstattung mit zwei Balkonen und dem für Skala unschlagbaren Preisleistungsverhältnisses noch lange in Erinnerung behalten werden.

Wir fühlten uns als Gäste sofort willkommen und bestens aufgenommen. Vor allem hatte uns das liebenswerte Besitzerehepaar sofort ins Herz geschlossen und wir es umgekehrt auch. Geschäftstüchtig und knorrig der Gatte, empathisch die Gattin. Beide wie wir älter und lebenserfahren. Wir haben gegenseitig jeweils viel vom anderen erfahren. Dies völlig unabhängig von den stets nach dem Eintreffen bis spät am Abend präsentiertem Uzos mit Knabbergebäck. Dem Haus umweht mit seiner Gesamtatmosphäre ein Hauch von Nostalgie, von Herzlichkeit, Bescheidenheit und Gastlichkeit. Am Morgen jeweils ein kleines, jedoch im Vergleich zum Gesamtpreis völlig ausreichendes Frühstück mit Ei. Was will man mehr?

Wir wünschen dem Hotel sowie dessen Patron und Patronin noch viele Gäste.
