Villa Zacharo

I could stay at front dusk until my boot came at 23.45'O Clock. Otherwise I would have suffered in the cold weather outside...

It was so nice to stay in a family run hotel . Old school as most would stay. Thank you Jacob and family for your hospitality. And sharing local knowledge and history with us.

Location is perfect just little walk from the port so no.need taxi even arrived at midnight. The owner really helpfull.

A very small and cozy family-run hotel. Breakfast is offered, and although it’s modest, it has everything you need to start the day. There were fresh homemade boiled eggs, tea, coffee, bread with butter/jam, and cereal, but there was no warm milk to have it with. We didn’t ask for milk for the cereal. The room was spacious, with a hairdryer, refrigerator, air conditioning, a small balcony, and a view of the owners’ neat vegetable garden. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired — the bedside tables hadn’t been dusted for a long time, and the pillows and mattress were clearly old and in need of replacement. The pillows were very thin, almost like sleeping directly on the mattress, but there were two extra ones in the closet. Overall, judging by the reviews and photos we had seen beforehand, we weren’t expecting anything extraordinary. We stayed for only two nights. For a short stay, it’s perfectly fine, but not suitable for a longer one. One of the advantages — the owner provided a lot of useful information about the island. Ah! Would be nice to have a small bathroom set or at least small one use shampoo

Excellent Staff, help us to arrange a taxi to go to Cave of Revelation and Monastery. Very close to the Ferry, lots of restaurants nearby and also a Supermarket within 10 meters.

A last minute trip in December with our dogs, Jacob was very, accommodating and the rooms and location were perfect.

estuvo esperando asta que llegué al hotel en la madrugada. pobre hombre me dió mucha pena verlo despierto y por la mañana tan fresco como una lechuga. me dijo que el desayuno estaba listo y muy amable me enseñó dónde estaba todo.
Mí cuarto limpio y todo alrededor muy bien. y como yo tenía que salir a media noche también me dijo que podía dejar mi maleta ahí en la salita y que podía ir a caminar tranquila, todos en la casa son muy amables y el lugar está bastante cerca del puerto. 3 minutos caminando y ya estás adentro del hotel. no será un 5 estrellas pero a mí me encantó.

What a delightful stay on Patmos! We loved staying at this charming hotel, which was very clean and tidy. It is well loved, although quite dated — which is part of the charm! It was easy to find in the middle of the night getting off the ferry, but make sure you know how to navigate with Google maps. The host and hostess were kind and attentive. Breakfast outside was delightful!

We enjoyed being on Patmos even if it was only for one night. The Villa Zacharo is a short distance from the harbour and centre of Skala. From there it was a lovely walk up to the Cave of Revelation and then to the fascinating village of Chora and the monastery. We were given a warm welcome at the Vila Zacharo and enjoyed chatting with other guests from all over the world.

D'abord l'emplacement, prêt du centre ville et du port pour prendre le bateau si facilement. Après l'ambiance familiale et très paisible, des gens simples et sympa et malgré qu'ils ne parle pas bien l'anglais ils ont fait des efforts. A refaire.....

Egyedül utaztam, és éjjel-nappal a legnagyobb biztonságban éreztem magam a szigeten. A szobám nagyon tiszta volt (naponta volt takarítás), a hangulat családias. Nagyon hálás vagyok, hogy rátaláltam erre a szállásra, és a sziget látogatásával valóra vált egy régi álmom. Vissza fogok térni, és ismét itt fogok éjszakázni! Még csak ma jöttem el, de nagyon hiányzik a sziget és a szuper szálláshely is!
