Allt var perfekt
Stunning hotel. We stayed in the land cabin which had great views out to the lake. Really spacious and comfortable. We made use of the sauna, plunge pool and hot tub and took the canoe out for a row around the lake. The a la carte dinner was superb and it was interesting to try the nordic wine pairings. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There were only a few other guests so everything felt very serene, quiet and tranquil.
You definitely need a car to get here or to have transport arranged. Beautiful hotel in a stunning setting but not a lot else to do in the area without a car.
Stunning location, beautiful finish, architecturally beautiful. But the real stand out was the amazing staff and service. Each one was personable, got to know us, and were so friendly.

The staff is amazing
Breath taking view, architecture and concept. Sauna and cold water dip was mind blowing. One time is not enough for this place, we have to go back in summer. Special thanks to Klara Hallengven, Klara and Saga.
Just one suggestion offer welcome drinks. Guests come with high hope as this is a luxury hotel and no one offers them a glass of water or a coffee. Give orientation about your services & what is included what is not while checking in.

Incredible; stunning location and architecture, delicious food, wonderful spa and the most helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble, everyone is so kind and friendly. The sauna ritual with Sven is a must!!! As is the culinary experience - very talented chefs. We loved every minute.
We loved the uniqueness of the design and exclusivity of the hotel complex.
It was perfect
The only down side is the food.
Whilst we really admire showcasing local produce, the dining options are limited with no course options. It’s either a tasting menu or a set three course.
On the other side, the food presentation was impeccable!
