Staff is just so welcoming.
Pros:

I stayed for 3 nights. My shower in the room did not work the Manager apologized and upgraded me to a room without hesitation excellent breakfast and the view from the top tier is amazing.

Pros:

Everything was just perfect - accommodation as expected and more, staff very open and lovely, food very nice. I really appreciated to stay in Coast View resort. As well very comfortable just to walk down to the small port for the tour to Gombe Stream NP. Thank you again for making my stay in Kigoma so nice - I was very happy and would chose you again. Warm regards from northern part of Germany - Janine

Overall, a great place to hang for a few days
Pros:

Enjoyed a wonderful spot up 3 flights of stairs at treetop level with a beautiful view and lake breeze to sit, dine and hang out. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We stayed 4 nights. They helped us to make arrangements for a day trip to Gombe Park and train travel to Tabora.

Cons:

Food was hit and miss. Large private party with booming music until 1:00 AM on our last night

Pros:

The view overlooking the water. The new and clean design. Good service.

Cons:

My AC did not work well and was hot at night. But it worked in another room. The hotel was a bit far from town but not remote.

Excellent value!
Pros:

The value was excellent. The staff is very nice. The place is clean. And the view is breathtaking. Also, I felt safe as a solo female traveler.

Cons:

The food wasn’t good, but it’s easy to eat elsewhere so that wouldn’t stop me from booking here again.

Pros:

Sheila, the staff member I interacted with mainly was lovely. The room was outstanding and the location afforded a great view of Lake Victoria and the Jinja pier.
