Cons:

Breakfast was good but could be so much better. No coffee machine at breakfast and the coffee served is awful. 2 coffee pods per day are provided in your room and is much nicer than they serve at breakfast. I tried tea, but the teabags and the milk were not very nice either. Hot food is served on hot plates, but the food tepid.

Tot personalul foarte drăguț, față de la recepție a avut grijă să ne explice tot ce trebuie, ne a indicat cele mai bune locuri în care putem merge la plajă și totul a fost în regulă. Curățenie zilnic, micul dejun bun, orice nevoie am avut ne-au rezolvat o pe loc

When booking through Booking.com, we had two options: non-refundable, around €20 cheaper, and refundable. We chose the cheaper option because we knew we would not cancel. Booking.com only stated that the non-refundable booking could not be cancelled or refunded. It did not say that we could be moved to a different type of accommodation.

At check-in, reception told us there was a possibility we might be moved to an apartment the next day. We accepted this, as we had already arrived and paid.

Our first night was 10/10 — the room was clean, comfortable and had a beautiful pool view.

The next morning, after breakfast, we were told we had to move to the apartment because of our non-refundable booking. The apartment was very disappointing: lower level, old, water marks on the walls, a tiny bathroom with no light, and an old kitchen. It was clearly a much lower standard than our hotel room and was not shown in the Booking.com photos.

We asked if we could pay extra to stay in the hotel, but there were no available rooms. We had paid €295 for two nights with breakfast, but decided to leave and lost one paid night.

Later, after we had already left and booked another hotel, they offered us a hotel room again, but it was already too late to return.

The hotel and our first room were great, but the way this situation was handled was very disappointing. This possibility should have been clearly stated on Booking.com when choosing the non-refundable option.

Aproape de centru, restaurante, magazine. Foarte curat. Personal amabil. Zona piscinei si gradina frumos amenajate. Camera arata exact ca in poza. Perfect pentru relaxare.

Cons:

Micul dejun bun, dar repetitiv si nu foarte diversificat. Cafeaua ar trebui inlocuita, foarte slaba calitativ.

I stayed at Lagaria Hotel two years ago and had a very positive experience, which is why I decided to come back. Unfortunately, this time I was a little disappointed.

The reception staff were very kind and helpful, and I really appreciated that they upgraded my room and moved me to the apartment section. However, the apartment itself did not quite meet my expectations. The bathroom was extremely small, there were a few things that were slightly damaged or in need of maintenance, and the bed felt quite small for two people.

Housekeeping was another issue. After cleaning the room, shampoo and shower gel were repeatedly not replaced, so I had to call reception several times to ask for them. These are small details, but they make a difference, especially at a hotel of this standard.

Overall, the staff are genuinely polite, friendly and willing to help, and I have no complaints about their attitude. However, compared with my previous stay two years ago, I felt that there were some issues with maintenance, housekeeping and overall management this time.

I still like the hotel and its atmosphere, but unfortunately this stay did not quite live up to the positive experience I had before.

Great hotel with excellent facilities and easily walkable to the centre and beaches.
Pros:

Clean, bright and modern hotel. Wonderful pool & bar/restaurant. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Just a couple of niggles with the bathroom, shower switch needed holding in place if the water pressure was low. Can't plug sink due to its design, therefore shaving is a bit of a faff.
