Pros:

The breakfast buffet was amazing and bedd were comfortable

Cons:

The hot water in room wasnt working but we only stayed one night and am sure we would get another room or a fix, had we stayed longer

Need some improvements
Pros:

Good gym facility, location was good and excellent buffet in the restaurant.

Cons:

Rooms need to be more cleaned. There were strange spots on the walls, especially next to the bin corner in my room (452)

Too much lime scale around tape and it appears tap and sink were not cleaned for ages.

I had only two lamp lights in room and none of the ceiling lights worked. Which was annoying.

There was no hot water at all. Staff told me to leave the water running for some time to get the hot water but in my stay I just took shower with the fresh water as staying in april was little warm.

Ceiling fan made loud noises, could not sleep and had to put it on lower speed as it was not AC weather.

Whenever I returned to room, I could smell dampness due to ventilation issues.

Pros:

had booked the hotel; however, the branch was already closed upon my arrival. I walked for 30 minutes to reach the location, but there was no prior communication regarding the closure. Once I arrived, I was informed that I needed to go to another branch on my own. This was highly unprofessional and disappointing behavior.

We didn’t stay at the Rose Palace Hotel Liberty..we were switched to the Rose Palace Hotel Gulberg!!

This entire review is for the Rose Palace Hotel Gulberg!
Despite booking our room at the Rose Palace hotel Liberty a week before, only on the day of check-in we were informed that the Liberty branch was temporarily closed for a few days “due to maintenance” so our booking was being shifted to their main “Gulberg” branch. Being the main branch which is apparently bigger, we were told that they would honour the room rate rather than charging more. The Gulberg hotel was drab, cigarette burns on sheets and upholstery, dim lighting, no window, felt claustrophobic, flies and mosquitoes, power outlets that don’t work, noise in the corridors, leaky sink and shower, dirty and dusty. We asked for a quiet room and the room we were initially given wasn’t quiet nor clean so we asked to be moved. The second room was only a tad better but still the room wasn’t great and we reluctantly accepted it because we were tired and had a flight to catch in the morning. If there were no rooms available for booking at the Liberty due to temporary closure, then why did the booking go through on Booking.com only for us to get shifted to an entirely different branch? Also why wait until the day of check-in to inform us about the changes. We could have reserved elsewhere and availed our free-cancellation option.
