Everything about this hotel was good, clean rooms, friendly staff always greet you with a smile and help you with best locations to visit and prices. Close to old town square- two minute walk. Breakfast was ok too with a coffee or cold drink self serve anytime. Will definitely return to this hotel *****
Really enjoyed staying here. Location is perfect, very central. The rooms are spacious with nice en suite. All very clean, good breakfast and the owner was brilliant - she will go out of her way to help.
Great location, no frills, but staff can be rude and breakfast is disappointing. The WiFi works on some devices but not others. Also, the sheets smell of disinfectant, which is better than BO and sex, but still very chemically.
But, like I said, you can't beat the location!
Decent hotel in good location. Internet does not work, or works intermittently. Staff is totally indifferent- I was told- "for some people it works, some people it doesn't. Nothing I can do," with a hostile attitude. Don't stay here if you need to stay in touch with people at home or need connectivity for work.
This hotel is a good 3-Star hotel. Nice size room, clean, decent but not lavish breakfast, friendly staff. Sometimes the breakfast is not exactly ready at 7:00 a.m., sometimes the service is lacking. But, it is a nice atmosphere and a great location close to most everything is central Prague.
Love the hotel!
Very close in the old town center.
Very close convenience stores and nice restos.
Nice to have met a very friendly receptionist named, Ella. She's been very helpful in so many ways.
The other receptionist who I did not bother getting the name is a bit rude... =( But Ella's friendliness compensated for all of these.
One comment, though, I tried to be economical in my towel usage but housekeeping did not even bother fixing my towels after cleaning my room!
Highly recommended hotel!!!
This hotel is very well placed, in a walking distance to the Staromestská Namestí (Oldtown Square).
The rooms are big enough, and have all the facilities one may need. And are very well cleaned.
The breakfast is correct. Not a great breakfast, but you'll find the essencial good items, and delicious kinds of bread.
The price is low, in comparison to other hotels in the city.
This hotel is located in the Old Town Square. It is very well equipped. The staff is friendly and helpful. Nearby are many restaurants, bars and shops. Also, there are many monuments like Charles Bridge, etc.
The hotel is located in close proximity to the city center. Spacious single room with a large bathroom. Well equipped. Hotel staff are pleasant demeanor and the prices are very good. Nearby are many restaurants, bars and shops.
I have stayed in Rezidence Dlouha for 3 nights. Everything is very simple and very comfortable. The hotel is in the very centre of the old city and within two minutes walk to the famous square. It is an ideal location for the tourists who want to visit the golden Prague.
We checked in early evening and they had our rooms ready for us with no hassle what so ever. We were all on the same floor (4). Rooms were large with King beds, huge bathrooms and very clean. Ours looked out over the back of the hotel and was extra large. Our friends all had street front rooms which were nice but they couldn't leave windows open due to the noise of people roaming the streets in the early am. Get room 407, it's the best. We had stayed across the street the week before but they didn't have available rooms so they suggested 17. The breakfast was included and very nice, had the same fare as in most hotels. This hotel is modern and not as charming as some but has a great elevator and nice rooms that you can entertain in. We had to leave very early for the airport and the young lady at the front desk that had worked all nite made us 2 sandwiches apiece to take with us because she was worried we wouldn't get to eat at airport. We would all definitely stay here again. Two nites with tax $163.70 U.S. Great location !
I've stayed in Rezidence Dlouha17 with 3 members for 4 days. The whole surroundings of hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Free-wifi is offered, however, sometimes it doesn't work very well . Breakfast is great, they offer buffet, such as ham, cheese, salad, bread, yogurt, drinks, fruits etc. Besides, this place is not far away from the old town, the location is very convenient. The price is around 1800 czk for a night.
I stayed at the hotel for two nights on a business trip and all the other guests seemed to be conference attendants too, so the place seems to be specialized.
The room was big, clean and the furniture was modern. The bed was a quite hard but the windows were new - which was a big plus. However, if you have a room to the street you might suffer from the noise - the hotel is situated very centrally, so at night you have the party crowd passing by below your window. Also there's a bar or disco nearby and the music can be heard in the room even when the windows are closed. But apart from that or if you have a room to the backyard it's a nice place with a decent breakfast offer.
But...
While the cleaning stuff was obviously very good, unfortunately the receptionists both were very unfriendly - one of them never even said a word to me like "hello" or "thanks" or "by", ot a smile, nothing; the other one preferred to finish her private phone call before checking me in..
You're less than a 10 minute walk to the main square from this hotel. It's been newly renovated, the furnishings are modern, and the beds comfortable. Housekeeping kept the room spotless. I agree with another reviewer -- Dlouha is a busy street lined with restaurants and cafes. If you happen to be here when it's hot, it's difficult to leave the windows open. First, in the evening there's noise from the restaurants/cafes, then at 6:00am the garbage trucks pick up trash. The staff was kind enough to provide us with a fan on the second night -- so the noise problem was solved. Breakfast buffet provides a variety of choices. It's a comfortable hotel and the proximity to the main square and restaurants can't be beat. Give it a try.
Stayed here on a short visit; the rooms are nicely done out, with plenty of storage/hanging space and modern bathroom and furnishings. Bedding was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was decent.
Unfortunately, Dlouha is a very busy road and the noise from outside made it difficult to get much sleep - I imagine the rooms at the back of the residence are much quieter, or any of the rooms in the cooler months when it is possible to leave the windows shut, but I have dropped one rating point for the sleep quality.
