Pros:

The stuff was very friendly, the facilities were great for a remote hotel like this, and the rooms were very comfy.

The location & the magnificent view! Friendly staff and, of course, that the hotel is pet friendly!

A balcony from my suite but it was stated that there wasn't, so ok no harm done!

Nice location and cozy atmosphere with some flows
Pros:

Perfect quiet location in the woods with great view of the mountains while eating your breakfast. The room was also really comfortable. The fireplace brought a cozy atmosphere and the stuff was happy to help us on setting up the fire.

Cons:

Breakfast was just ok. We never truly understood how/if the central heat/ air-conditioning were actually working. Apart from the very last "night", the room had no heating (thankfully we had the fireplace on all night). What truly bothered me though was the total dissatisfaction of the receptionist every time we made a query regarding the room temperature and our stay in general. Our polite and logical questions were answered with an overall snob attitude.

A very decent hotel, ideally located lacking only in attention to detail..
Pros:

The hotel is superbly located, perched on a mountain slope overlooking Volos, the gulf and Evia island. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place is neat and tidy. The bed matresses are very good. Breakfast buffet was varied enough and abundant. Our stay was memorable and we would recommend it for accomodation to anyone interested in visiting Pelio.

Cons:

On the first night, we ordered a dish with cured meat and cheese to have with a bottle of wine. The wine list was quite good, we did enjoy the wine, but the dish a disappointment; sliced cheese (the kind used for toast) and feta cheese, plus sliced ham (for toast again) is not what one expects with their wine.
The stream flowing next to the hotel was littered with what seemed to be waste material from the hotel. It might have ended up there during the Daniel extreme weather phenomenon last year, but it should have been cleared by now.

Lovely 5day escape in Pelion
Pros:

Great hotel. It was my second time here and I really loved it both times. A very good variety of choices for breakfast and options for lunch or dinner. The room was really comfortable and very very clean! The nature around the resort offers the perfect ambience for a good night's sleep, but also a great scene morning walks. Our hosts were very polite and friendly and welcomed us fondly.
