Bad experience
Cons:

We arrived around 9:30pm. The barrier to the car park was down. We rang the tele number given for 10mins, but nobody answered. I went into the hotel to explain, but staff were so busy with a function nobody was on reception to help. After another 10mins, we were finally let into the car park.
When we got to the room, there were no towels in the bathroom. Another trip to reception, again nobody there! The room had no air con only a fan. It was however very old & noisy so couldn’t be used!
Would never go back.

Meh.
Pros:

It was handy, lovely location next to the river, good pubs with very good food within a couple minutes walk.

Cons:

Lots of narrow stairs, no air con, attic room windows don’t open very far, extremely hot & difficult to sleep.
Staff were friendly, however the yacht club members that I encountered were positively unpleasant. I’m sure they are not all like that, but I won’t be rushing back & I wouldn’t recommend.

Lovely venue and convenient location for the marina

Cons:

Breakfast didnt start till 9 which is not really acceptable for a hotel should be 7 or 6.30

Room 9 was so hot in the top of the roof, needs air conditioning in these locations

They could have opened all the windows instead of arriving at a sealed glass house

Pros:

the location was excellent and the outside bar had a really good view.

Cons:

when we arrived the reception wasn't manned and no-one was answering the intercom to open the barrier. we had to go upstairs to find someone to assist. there was no breakfast available and the showers in 2 of the rooms weren't working.

A relaxing overnight stay
Pros:

Nice location, we were able to stay in car park after check out this was extremely helpful.
Nice staff, clean rooms
