Very good option as start point to visit the waterfalls near by.
Pros:

Easy to reach, very good location.
Room, bathroom size were ok. The lady who waited on us was very nice, she prepared dinner. She helped us organize an excursion for the next day.

Pros:

el trato familiar que nos dieron... nos recibieron como si fueramos conocidos, nos trataron muy bien y cocinaron con elementos de la zona y con gallinas de la misma chakra...
agua calentita para bañarse y ni siquiera necesitabamos poner seguro a las puertas porque todo era tranquilo.

Pros:

Nos gustó mucho el hospedaje, la familia de Isaac muy amable con nosotros, la comida casera y rica. Hicimos un tour de café en el fundo de la familia de Isaac y fuimos a la catarata de Yumbilla. La casa tiene un orquidiario bonito.

Superb
Pros:

Best food I've had at any of the accommodations in Perú! Sra. Editha is a great cook and friendly host. I loved seeing the wide range of rescued orchids - a complete surprise.

The staff connected me with a great guide!

Cons:

Cuispes is a very tiny town which is a good base for some adventures - and lovely scenery. It is not, however, a town large enough to boast any services to speak of; one neighbour on the main square série some basics like water and sweets but there's no pharmacy or any other store to my knowledge.

I found the cost to be a bit high compared to others stays on this trip but did have a really great experience overall!

Very comfortable room with a great breakfast.
Pros:

Prior to our visit the communication had been clear and easy. We arrived late, as we had predicted, and we were shown to our room without a problem. The family business is in Cuispes which is a bit remote but easy to find. The room was large and comfortable with a great shower. Wifi worked fine and breakfast was delicious

Great place to access the waterfalls
Pros:

A lovely homestay in the heart of Cuispes. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here as well. Hot shower, comfy bed and wifi. They helped us get to the waterfalls as well.
It's more remote than most towns, so you need to try and plan ahead a bit, like what time you want to eat, what time you want to go somewhere etc. 10 soles per person in a mototaxi to get from Pedro Ruiz and 10 soles per person to get to the start of the waterfalls (don't walk, it's 5km, uphill on a dirt road).

Cons:

The curtain fabric could be a little darker to block out the streetlights.
