Pros:

Das Personal ist wie überall sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für uns war es das Ziel nach einem langen Safari Tag durch den Mkomazi NP. Wir sind durch das Zange Gate rein und durch das Nijro Gate raus. Sind am nächsten Tag weiter nach Lushoto. Insoweit war auch die Lage perfekt. Das Essen ist okay. Das Bad neu.

Cons:

Die 4 Bett Zimmer sind etwas klein. Für tanzanische Verhältnisse schon etwas teurer.

Idylle am Rand der Mkomazi Nationalpark
Pros:

Wunderschöne Idylle am Eingang des Mkomazi Nationalpark. "Schwedenhäuschen" im Stil von einem Campingpark. 4-Bett-Zimmer mit Doppelbettstockbetten. Es gab Sitzmöglichkeiten für drinnen und draußen und das Essen war superlecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Beim reservieren gab es nur die Möglichkeit 2 Betten oder 3 Betten. Wir waren aber zu viert, somit musste ich 2x2 Betten wählen und habe dadurch anders reserviert und mehr bezahlt als tatsächlich möglich war. Eine Stornierung war daher nicht möglich, das Hotel hat aber dennoch den Raum angepasst.

Von Lushoto zum Mkomazi muss man eine rießig Schleife über Same fahren. Es gibt keine Abkürzung. Dadurch bringt man "unnütz" km auf den Tacho. Man sieht aber auch viel und kann von dort aus auch in den NP. Der Haupteingang liegt allerdings mittig auf der Strecke und auch dort kann man übernachten. Nur nicht so schön.

Sehr freundliche hilfsbereite Mitarbeitende!!! Haben z.B. Parkeintritt beim sonst nur für Austritte offenen Njiro Gatd organisiert.
Prima Frühstück. Gute Ausstattung.

Cons:

Die Info, dass der Eintritt am Park- Haupgeingang (35 Min. entfernt) gelöst wdrden muss, fehlt in den Hotelinfos.
Zuviele Möbel im Zimmer.

Absolut empfehlenswert!
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war gut. Auch Abendessen konnte geordert werden. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und komfortabel. Selbst die Badezimmer sind vergleichsweise groß und geradezu luxuriös. Eine schöne Anlage!

Comfortabel met supervriendelijk personeel
Pros:

Mkomazi Hotel and Campsite ligt ideaal, dicht bij de Njiro Gate van het nationale park. Geen prachtig uitzicht ofzo maar prima als tussenstop na bezoek van het park. De kamers zijn smetteloos schoon en zeer comfortabel. Het eten is heerlijk, vers en met aandacht bereid. Wat ons verblijf bijzonder maakte, was het ongelooflijk lieve en vriendelijke personeel. Een plek waar je je meteen thuis voelt!

What a great place! Not only is this hotel surrounded by beautiful scenery, but we also loved how welcome we felt.
The staff is so friendly and the food was really good.
We also did a short walkbm in the environment which we really enjoyed.
They also helped us with finding a guide to do a safari, which was great.

Lovely and welcoming hotel
Pros:

Lovely hotel near Mkomazi NP. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, with good AC and a nice outside terrace (covered). The bathroom is adequate and clean, with hot water. The staff is very friendly and helpful; especially the two ladies at the reception! They have a campsite too, but because of construction work, the workers are currently using it.

I can't really think of anything I didn't like... 🤔
