A spectacular place to stay
Pros:

Hotel Tilapia is a gem located in one of the best areas of Mwanza, the quiet and natural Capri Point. Cottages are spacious and beautiful, and the view over the lake and the bay is simply spectacular.

The staff is friendly and attentive - one even lent me her SIM card during our stay - and the restaurant has a wide choice of good food, especially when it comes to Indian dishes. The breakfast was good and varied.

Cons:

We had some minor issues with the AC in our room.

all you can expect and more for a quite lakeside stay
Pros:

Room was amazing, clean and well maintained every day. Staff super friendly. Restaurant and bar offer a wide range of Indian, local and western food, and fish is great. Breakfast is very diversified and... the view makes everything just better.

Behövde möjlighet till relax men detta var svårt.

Cons:

Sängmadrassen var väl använd,
Elekricitetkom och givmck på natten vilket hindrade sömnen, kunde ej använda andningsapparaten. Till vår bestörtning saknades motsvarande 100 dollar i plånboken( varit i safatybox) noterade dagen då lämnade hotellet.

Wir hatten für unsere Meetings, zum Arbeiten, und zum Bad am Pool genügend Raum und etwas Musik ..ok
Pros:

Es ist ein internationales Hotel wie man sie zu Tausenden sieht in Afrika generell.
Einrichtung und Stil entspricht mir nicht, jedoch grosszügig ist die Anlage und sauber und es bietet die nötige Infrastruktur um Ferien zu machen oder eben auch arbeiten.
Das Essen fanden wir erstaunlich gut, v.a die indischen Varianten

Cons:

Stil, zu grobe Möbel (wie überall in Afrika, sorry) Tonnenschwere Möbel (warum??), Bad etwas in die Jahre gekommen mit den Duschvorhängen die nicht gross genug sind oder modern, Wasser das aus Toilette oder Dusche läuft nach dem Duschen oder nach dem WC-Besuch..frisches Wassser , ev Leitung undicht, das ist schade.
