Exceptional
Pros:

It was clean, cozy and very polite staff. They helped us foreigners in any way they could: patiently and politely. It's a pity that tipping is not accepted in China:(I wanted to thank the receptionists somehow

Cons:

The hostel was not at the indicated location. This is some industrial area with no Hostels or convenience stores. Is was a big hassle for us to book a different hostel on the spot, without an Internet connection and with a lot of time pressure, as it was already quiet late.
