Great location and style but lack of effective airconditioning in summer
Pros:

Beautiful location right near the old town with a lovely view over Brasov. Staff were kind and very helpful. The hotel looks great, it has a contemporary fit-out.

Cons:

The airconditioning was a small portable unit you had to request. Unfortunately the unit we received wasn’t effective at cooling the room and it had mould in its water compartment so it smelt and we ultimately didn’t use it after discovering that. This was during the middle of a heatwave so the room stayed uncomfortably warm overnight.

Pros:

Amplasarea si locurile de parcare.

Cons:

Am revenit la Upper House după aproximativ 5 ani deoarece prima experiență a fost excelentă. Am rezervat chiar aceeași cameră, convinși că vom găsi aceleași condiții. Din păcate, realitatea a fost complet diferită, iar pentru aproape 1.900 lei/2 nopți experiența a fost dezamăgitoare.

Printre problemele întâlnite:

- ventilatorul din baie nu funcționa;
- obloanele, unul dintre principalele motive pentru care am ales din nou această cameră, nu funcționau la toate geamurile;
- pernele decorative de pe pat aveau pete albe;
- mini-frigiderul nu fusese verificat înainte de cazare și am găsit în el o caserolă lăsată de oaspeții anteriori;
- mobilier deteriorat, tencuială sărită și pereți plini de stropi.

Cea mai mare dezamăgire a fost însă pătuțul pentru copil. Am primit un simplu țarc pliabil, foarte jos, fără saltea, doar cu o păturică împăturită pe post de saltea. Mai mult, hotelul nici măcar nu avea un cearceaf potrivit pentru pătuț, așa că s-a improvizat cu un cearceaf obișnuit împăturit. Pentru un hotel care practică astfel de tarife, acest lucru este inacceptabil.

În plus, salteaua patului matrimonial este extrem de moale și nu ne-am putut odihni. Pentru că bebelușul nostru nu a putut dormi în pătuțul oferit, a trebuit să doarmă cu noi, iar salteaua era atât de moale încât se rostogolea spre noi.

Mă așteptam la camere bine întreținute, curate și dotate corespunzător, mai ales la acest preț. Din păcate, raportul calitate-preț este foarte slab și nu cred că vom mai reveni.

Pros:

Am avut o experiență foarte plăcută! Cazarea a fost curată, confortabilă și bine întreținută, iar personalul a fost amabil și primitor. Locația este excelentă.Recomand cu încredere și cu siguranță vom reveni.

Schönes Boutique-Hotel in Fuß-Entfernung zur Altstadt
Pros:

Schön gelegen, in 10 Minuten zu Fuß in die Altstadt. Leckeres Frühstück, ein bisschen besonders, da man bestellen muss bzw. darf. Es gibt Müsli, Obst, Kuchen etc als Büffet, ca 8-10 leckere Speisen zum bestellen als „Hauptfrühstück“.
Sehr freundliches Personal

Cons:

Abends hätte ich mir manchmal eine Bar gewünscht, für einen Absacker. Aber Altstadt ist wirklich nah
