A peaceful, authentic rural escape
Pros:

If you are looking to truly disconnect, this is the place. The location is incredibly peaceful and isolated, offering a quiet atmosphere that is hard to find elsewhere. I loved having a private hammock right outside my hut—it was the perfect spot to relax and read.

The experience is very authentic and rural. The food was delicious and locally sourced, and the tours organized by the hosts were fantastic. I took two tours, and because they are run by locals, you get a genuine feel for the area. It’s a lovely, community-focused stay.

Cons:

The only thing to be aware of is that the beds are very firm (almost like sleeping on the floor). This isn't necessarily a "bad" thing, but it’s important for managing expectations.

Le Daniel Mekong Homestay est bien plus qu’un simple lieu de séjour : c’est une véritable parenthèse de sérénité au cœur du delta du Mékong.

All the staffs are very nice and thoughtful. The homestay is calm and relaxing.
Must try the food from their kitchen!!! It’s really good!!! We also booked the floating market tour and had breakfast there and visited noodle factory. I miss Jenny, Daniel ,Becky and little Sofia 😊😊

Pros:

An ideal escape from the chaos: a place surrounded by nature, with Jenny and her husband as kind and welcoming hosts. We also enjoyed a tour of the floating market with Beki, a passionate and friendly guide. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing time, bungalows are super cosy in a calm part a bit outside the busy city. A big thanks to Becky and Jennny for their kindness during our stay, would recommend without hesitation !

The staff, especially Thanh (Becky) were very helpful as much as they could be. Daniel was also very accommodating and helpful.

Cons:

The noise of the chickens next door is on another level! They may as well be in your room, which during the day is so loud you can't even speak to each other, let alone rest after an early morning. They are still at it later into the night and start again around 4.00am. Consequently, you don't get any sleep and am exhausted. I also didn't like being pressured by Jenny to pay cash. She didn't want us paying by credit card, which was inconvenient.

Pros:

de locatie was super. het personeel en Daniel top mensen. En zeker de gids die me de Mekong delta heeft leren kenen. ze sprak zeer goed Engels. je mag haar als vragen over de streek en gewoontes. ze kent ook iedereen op de drijvende markt en de lokale markt. ze hebben hun eigen typis bootje. en zelf als je alleen bent varen ze uit. top top top

Cons:

De harde matras maar dit is typis vietnamees. de laatste dag zegde Daniel dat ik dit moest melden wand ze hebben een opleg matras dat als zachter maakt naar europeese norme. Dus vragen voor gebruik.

We had a great experience at this home stay. The staff were very welcoming, the property is a haven of tranquillity.
We appreciated the floating market trip where our guide Becky shared her experiences growing up there which was fascinating.
We would definitely recommend staying here.

Pros:

Le cadre tranquille et l'extrême gentillesse de Beckie qui est un rayon de soleil.
Le tour flotting market qu'elle nous a organisé était top.
Le homestay prête des vélos pour aller se balader, ce qui est très pratique
Le restaurant est bon.

Cons:

Les lits étaient très durs et pas confortables, les coqs chantent presque toute la nuit.
Le homestay est loin de tout, il faut prendre un taxi (20 min) pour manger à l'extérieur. Il y a la possibilité de manger au homestay mais c'est à 18:30.
