We had an unforgettable stay in Sombor, at the Barcode Wellness Hotel.
From the very beginning, everything felt just right: the breakfasts were outstanding — especially the berry and chia seed desserts, a perfect way to start the day, and the vanilla cottage cheesecake, a true symphony of flavor and good mood.
We slept incredibly well thanks to the comfortable mattresses and pillows, and truly enjoyed the clean and relaxing spa area, including the hammam, Finnish sauna, and the pool with perfectly warm water.
And the cherry on top — the attentive and caring staff, always ready to help and genuinely creating that unique “genius loci” atmosphere in the quiet, cozy, green-filled town of Sombor.

Room was very well equipped and clean. Spa is good. It was a bit crowded but expected due to Labor day. Staff is very polite and welcoming. Hotel offers free bikes, but unfortunately, we’ve requested them too late, so they weren’t available. Make sure to make a request in advance.
We’ve arrived to have breakfast at 9:30, but the main dish (fried eggs and sausages) containers were empty, with only side dishes available. The breakfast is served until 10, so 30 minutes is an optimal timeframe to eat, in my opinion. There were limited options.
