Hotel ma bardzo ładne wnętrze, pokój był ładnie zaaranżowany, wygodne łóżko, ekspres do kawy, herbata, ładna łazienka a przede wszystkim bardzo czysto. Rano dokupiłam sobie śniadanie, które było pyszne.

Das kleine, von außen unscheinbare Hotel ist in dieser Preisklasse etwas Besonderes: Historisch gewachsen und doch modern in der Ausstattung. Besonders für den netten Empfang (Paul) möchte ich mich bedanken. Ich bekam sofort ein Upgrade.
Was man auch viel zu selten findet: Espressomaschine und Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer.
Überraschend - aber nicht unbedingt negativ - war, dass ich zunächst das übliche Frühstücksbuffet vermisste. Stattdessen kann man sein Frühstück à la carte wählen und bekommt es im gemütlich-stylischen Restaurant serviert.

Clean room, very nice staff

Cons:

Air conditioner only imitates working, it had been turned on for the whole day and night and it still was unbearably hot in the room. Before this hotel I’ve stayed in another one, and air conditioner was really helping with the heatwave, so the issue was definitely with the air conditioner not functioning properly in Kolbeck hotel.

ich weiß momentan nicht, ob ich hier wieder nächtigen würde.
Pros:

Personal war freundlich, die Ausstattung entsprechend des Preises gut.
Nettes Restaurant im Hotel.

Cons:

Auf meinen Hinweis, die Klimaanlage würde nicht funktionieren, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass es in der Vorwoche unerwartet heiß gewesen wäre (tatsächlich, wir hatten Sommer in Wien). Die Klimaanlage würde aber einwandfrei funktionieren.
Dem war nicht so.

Don’t stay here!
Pros:

I did not stay there due to poor service and management.

Cons:

I would not recommend either Boutique Hotel Kolbeck or Booking.com based on my recent experience.

The hotel failed to meet the standard of service I had every reason to expect, and my concerns were not dealt with satisfactorily during my stay. Unfortunately, my experience with Booking.com’s customer service has been equally disappointing.

It has now been over a month since I first raised my complaint, despite multiple attempts to contact Booking.com through different channels. To date, the matter remains unresolved and I have yet to receive a meaningful response or resolution.

When things go wrong, you expect a company of Booking.com’s size and reputation to take ownership and resolve the issue promptly. Sadly, that has not been my experience.

Until this matter is resolved fairly, I cannot recommend either the hotel or Booking.com.

Pros:

Convenient location for solo travelers, especially staying in Vienna for 1-2 days then transit to other countries. Close to train station which was easy to go to the airport
