The picturesque location of this hotel is simply out of this world! Very friendly owners bending over backwards to please their customers. Beautiful beach bar, perfect for a cheeky late drink. Taverna with quality food.

Pros:

Το ξενοδοχείο Μενες είναι από τα καλύτερα καταλύματα που έχω μείνει ! Το δωμάτιο ήταν πεντακάθαρο όπως κει η πισίνα , ο Παναγιώτης και ο Νίκος πολύ βοηθητικοί σε ότι και να χρειαστεί ο πελάτης . Ακόμη , η θέα από το δωμάτιο μας ήταν υπέροχη , το εστιατόριο τους ήταν παρά πολύ καλό και η ποιότητα του φαγητού εξαιρετική ! Όσο για το προσωπικό έχω να πω τα καλύτερα λόγια ευδιάθετοι και με την πρόθεση να σε εξυπηρετήσουν , επιπροσθέτως το WiFi ήταν πολύ καλό και είχαμε σήμα παντού . Σίγουρα θα σας ξανά προτιμήσουμε !

Τσεκ ιν στις 23.50 απο το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου. Με οδήγησαν έως το δωμάτιο μου. Καθαριότητα. Πλουσιο πρωινο με ατομικό σερβίρισμα και φυσικό χυμό πορτοκάλι. Οικογενειακό οικείο περιβάλλον. Ένιωσα σαν στο σπιτι μου.

Great location, wonderful little bay.

The owner of the place was unbelievably rude and showed absolutely no understanding of the fact that the provided baby cots were outdated, worn out, and completely unsuitable for putting a one-year-old or younger child to sleep for several nights.
When we confronted him about this, he simply replied that the cancellation deadline was 14 days and refused to refund our money.
He claimed that in the past 10 years no one had ever complained about these so-called ‘sleeping arrangements’ – which is extremely hard to believe.
If it hadn’t been for the helpfulness and advice of one of the staff members, we would most likely have left the accommodation.

To make matters worse, the same owner operates a restaurant where they offer a so-called 20% discount – but it’s nothing more than overpriced, bottom-of-the-barrel quality food, quite possibly the worst you can get in Greece. They also failed to responsibly inform us that this ‘discount’ only applies only if we pay by cash.
There is no proper shower available either; instead, guests are forced to wash themselves with a simple hose after returning from the sea or the pool to the accommodation.

Overall, the attitude and the complete lack of genuine hospitality were a huge disappointment. The booking.com cancellation request we submitted was ignored, with the owner claiming he wouldn’t accept it because it would mean losing money. This petty mindset says it all.
Despite the great location, I would not recommend spending even a single night here to anyone.

Menes hotel - a great place to stay in Lefkada
Pros:

Menes hotel is located in a very beautiful gulf just five minutes by car from the picturesque Nydri. it is a brand new, very nice and clean hotel, also with swimming pool and parking. We strongly recommend it as a great place to stay in Lefkada!

Very clean and looked after property. Wonderful location and the beach.

Cons:

You can't get proper sleep in this place. Thevroom has no sound insulation whatsoever. The noise starts from about 8am with children running the corridors and then the cleaners, chatting and banging...
