An enjoyable overnight stay.
Pros:

A very comfortable room with everything we needed. Dinner was excellent, breakfast was very good.

Cons:

Probably a little more choice for breakfast.

Great value for money and an excellent choice on the menu for good hearty pub food
Pros:

I’ve stayed at the Cheshire Cat many times and love the food, choice of beers and the rooms are very comfortable and always exceptionally clean. A great location for a good walk along the canal too.

Perfect base for the week
Pros:

3rd time staying here. The staff were very friendly as always and went out of their way to help you.
Perfect location to get to Chester town center and also into Wales and Liverpool.

Cons:

The place is lovely just looking a little tired in some places.

Everything there was a particular young lady who was on a late shift on arrival until late evening and back on shift the next morning who made us feel welcome from beginning to end

It's really nice there it's right by the canal. I really like that the rooms are a separate building. The food was really good.

The food and location were excellent, the room was ok although needed an upgrade. Overall value for money
Pros:

The food was excellent, the location was very good.

Cons:

Woken up at 6 30am by workers installing the internet cabling immediately outside our room.
I requested a different pillow twice but never received one and ended up using cushions in my room to sleep

Overall for the group very good!
Pros:

Very good breakfast!

Cons:

Unfortunately one of the double rooms booked for one person had a single bed - an uncomfortable single bed for a large man which was a shame as booked double room for double bed and was rhe same price for one or two people!
