OK but not great!
Pros:

Good location next to canal and convenient for park and ride to Chester city centre. Plenty of parking. Room clean and comfortable. Had an excellent evening meal there.

Cons:

My room was very hot. Breakfast wasn't great.

Good location, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and clean and comfortable
Pros:

Lovely location. Would have liked breakfast included for the price of the room, but did get cereal and hot drink. Would have liked fruit and yogurt too but only for extra payment.

Cons:

Shower didn't work first morning which was a bit of a shame as we'd been for a run and had to wash in the sink. Everything else very good and staff very friendly and obliging.

Enjoyed staying at the Inn.
Pros:

A lovely old Inn. Our room was in a house on the side of the old Inn on the first floor. Comfortable, but a rather hard bed.
We had a wonderful dinner at the Inn. Breakfast was also good.
Ample parkings-space with no charge.

Cons:

The noise of, what I assume, was the kitchens ventilation.

Cons:

There was dirty marks down the door in the bathroom so cleaning wasn't amazing. The bed was very hard and the pillows were extremely lumpy

Everything met our needs perfectly. We have stayed here before and will stay here again if in the area. The room was comfortable and quiet, even tho' the hotel/restaurant was very busy and dinner and breakfast was good.

Umgebung

Cons:

Teppich überall und da sehr alt, sehr unangenehmer Geruch.
Keine saubere Zimmer.
Man darf beim Frühstück nur ein Essen aussuchen was im Preis inklusive ist.
Familienzimmer sind auf dem ersten Stock doch es gibt kein Lift für Kinderwagen. Treppenhaus sehr eng um Kinderwagen hochzutragen.

Highly recommend
Pros:

We have stayed here a few times. Rooms are beautiful and location is lovely and quiet. The staff are all so friendly and the food is to die for.

Cons:

Only criticism is that the pillows for me are too soft and you end up feeling like your sleeping with no pillow at all. Bed is so comfy though.
