It was very clean and spacious room, close to the beach and polite staff

Cons:

The pool during our whole stay was dirty, we didn’t enjoyed it even once and the WiFi connection was really bad, especially in the rooms. I mentioned it to the manager (or owner) and her only response for every issue we faced at the property was this is Zanzibar. I’d like to mention that I have been 3 times in Zanzibar in many hotels and I know how it is. Most of the hotels on the island have a generators for electricity but at this hotel the generator was working only when they had orders for lunch or dinner.

Great tranquil stay in Matemwe!
Pros:

All the staff and owners were friendly and lovely, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
The room was spotless and great facilities.
Food was delicious and pool area was spacious and clean.

Would recommend for anyone for a relaxing and tranquil break.

We would also recommend getting a massage and yoga if you have time!

Magical gem - private, tranquil, relaxing
Pros:

The food and drinks were absolutely amazing. Laying by the pool with sand between your toes under the shade was heaven. The overall atmosphere is tranquil and relaxing, the entire place feels private and secluded. This is perfect for a couple wanting to escape or adults wanting to decompress. It is not the place for a wild party or loud children. It was exactly what we wanted.
The *only* negative was our room was warm at night, it never cooled off, which was not great for sleeping. I think possibly when the electricity tripped our air conditioning also stopped working and we should have asked the staff about it. If the room had been cooler at night or if we had a fan it would have been perfect scores. Even with the heat, it was still an amazing place to stay and we would go back. It's hard to explain the perfect calm vibe they have created. Yoga was also excellent. If you want to party, it is easy to walk down the beach to a wilder bar/beach scene, then retreat to the quiet privacy of Unaweza.

Cons:

The room could be cooler at night and having more drinking water provided to the room would be nice. Other than that, there is nothing to comment on because everything was wonderful.

El alojamiento era precioso, las habitaciones muy bonitas y con todo lo necesario. Los trabajadores eran encantadores y siempre te atendían con una sonrisa. En resumen, un 10.
