Ulysses Hotel

We stayed at Ulysses Hotel for a couple of days as part of our honeymoon and we look forward to come back here some day. Every morning we were greeted with a lovely breakfast and a friendly conversation with our host. The hotel is close to the beach and plenty of choice of for restaurants. Ask the host for advice! Thank you for making our stay as pleasant as possible! On departure we were gifted a beautiful bottle of olive oil, which we are still enjoying even after we left Greece.

The manager Nikos was wonderful. He told us everything we needed to know and places to visit. The breakfast was amazing. Freshly squeezed orange juice, best quality Greek cheese and a variety of delicious fresh fruit. Also, home-made deserts and yoghurt with honey. It was a great start to our day. There were also lots of books for us to read about the history of the area. We had the best time and when we left Nikos gifted us a bottle of extra virgin olive oil from his olive Grove. A beautiful gesture that was greatly appreciated.

We stayed at Ulysses for three nights. The accommodation is truly fantastic. The rooms were very clean, cosy and quiet. Everything we needed was there, including coffee-making facilities. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. Only the bathroom lighting could have been a little brighter.
The breakfast on the large beautifull terrace covered with plants was very tasty, plentiful and varied, so we were full until the afternoon. The value for money was very good, and the owners were very nice and helpful. Everything was really perfect! There is also a lot to do in the surrounding area, e.g. restaurants for the evening. We would love to come back to Methoni and can highly recommend the Ulysses. Thanks again for everything. Best regards, Chris and Kathrin from Germany

Wonderful small hotel, located in the village yet only 5 minutes from beach and restaurants.
Beds and bed linen are of a high quality. The towels are changed every day and the bed linen every few days.
Breakfast taken on the beautiful cool terrace covered by the vines are fabulous despite not having a choice. Boiled eggs, toast, flat bread, cheese, traditional Greek spinach or cheese pastry, large plate of a various fruits and of course the luscious Greek yoghurt and there is always a sweet cake, pastry or pudding and on many of the 14 days we stayed there they were home made. Nothing is too much trouble for Nikos or Egle. This is our 3rd year in this hotel and we couldn’t contemplate staying anywhere else but Ulysses whilst holidaying in Methoni.

A great family run hotel. A true Greek experience. Authentic food and hospitality within a clean airy hotel. We loved the relaxed and relaxing atmosphere.

Η τοποθεσία του ξενοδοχείου κεντρική, δίπλα σε όλα , ταυτόχρονα όμως ήσυχα. Το δωμάτιο είχε όλα τα απαραίτητα και ήταν πεντακάθαρο. Ο οικοδεσπότης ευγενέστατος και βοηθητικός σε ο,τι ζητήσαμε.

Le personnel aimable, souriant et généreux. La proximité de la plage et des cafés et le patio recouvert d’une magnifique végétation.

Everything! Clean, comfortable rooms, great staff that couldn't do enough for you, and offered honest local advice and an excellent breakfast..
Will always stay here when in Methoni.

Colazione ottima, con prodotti preparati in casa. Ottimo yogurt e la frutta che lo accompagnava, pane buonissimo.

Η διαμονή μας στο κατάλυμα ήταν άψογη!! Θα το επισκεφτούμε ξανά σίγουρα!! Ευχαριστούμε πολύ τους οικοδεσπότες!!

Everything! I would rate it 11 if I could. The hosts are amazing, even to Greece standards of hospitality. The room and the garden are very nice and the breakfast included fresh local foods, some of them even made in house. It is like a tasting session. We have been to Greece many times and this was our best accommodation so far.

Letto comodissimo con topper, balconcino carinissimo. Colazione abbondante servita al tavolo in cortile, con prodotti freschi salati e dolci.

Το μότο του Νίκου (ιδιοκτήτη του ξενοδοχείου) "More Home than Hotel" φαινόταν έντονα σε όλες τις πτυχές
της διαμονής μας. Όλα ήταν καταπληκτικά από δύο υπέροχους ανθρώπους!!
