Um lugar tranquilo para descansar
Pros:

O anfitrião educadíssimo e prestativo, salvo engano o nome dele era José. Nos orientou com os passeios. Nos acompanhou e guiou-nos até onde vende os bilhetes para Ilhas Ballestas. A pousada é muito agradável . Ambiente tranquilo, silencioso e familiar. Excelente para descansar.

Disappointing stay - uncomfortable and lack of privacy
Cons:

The room was extremely hot with no air conditioning; it felt like staying in an oven. I had to keep the windows open, but since there were no mosquito nets, bugs kept flying in. Also, people were constantly walking by outside the window, so there was zero privacy.

To make matters worse, guests aren't provided with a main entrance key, so you often have to wait outside just to get into the hotel. Overall, it was a very poor experience.

Loved it and the staff made the stay so much more enjoyable!
Pros:

Jose, the receptionist, was great. Helped us with everything and even had some great tips on how we could get straight to Huaccachina by using a tourist bus.

Cons:

Room was bit dated, but it was great value for the money.
