Not friendly towards solo traveller
Pros:

Mountain view from the room. Checkin was smooth. The guy at reception helped me with all the practical information with a smile.

Cons:

TLDR : if you are a man of color and solo backpacker, please avoid this hotel.
I faced discriminatory behaviour from the staff in the breakfast hall. On the first morning, I entered the breakfast room, there was no body to attend but I saw some guests. Most tables were unoccupied. So I occupied a table by the window. But then came a lady and moved me to another table saying that the table was reserved. Then I realized that in this hotel breakfast tables are reserved by the staff. Since I was a guest too, I asked for a reservation but she said "most tables are reserved for families who stay here long term and since you are solo we cannot give you a big table." Later I checked with the hotel management if all of that was true. They clearly told me that they DO NOT have any reservation for breakfast table. The next morning I asked the lady to apologize to me for holding me back from a table on false pretexts. She didn't. What was she upto?
And I realized that some of the "elite" guests in the hotel were giving condescending looks towards me. I have lived in dirt cheap hostels too but even there I have felt more friendliness from fellow guests than at this hotel. I did happen to meet some guests which were very nice and friendly too but God! the looks of some of those apparently superiority complex driven elites... I am not going to forget that.
Fact : I was the only man of color in this hotel. And whereas most of the staff were super friendly and courteous, those ladies in the breakfast room soured the entire experience. I also complained to the management, but I don't know if they took any action.

Sehr freundliches Personal
Fast direkt an der Skipiste gelegen. Bei viel Schnee kann man direkt bis / vom Hotel fahren. Da zu unserer Zeit nicht ganz so viel Schnee lag, mussten wir ca 150m laufen.
Sehr gutes Frühstück in Buffetform mit frischen Obst. Halbpension Sehr gut und auch auf Sonderwünsche wurde eingegangen.

Pros:

Super Frühstück! Äusserst grosse Auswahl und liebevoll hergerichtet. Die Lage ist der Wahnsinn – Ski-in/Ski-out, genau wie man es sich vorstellt.
Das Personal ist unvorstellbar freundlich. Ich habe mich mit den Inhabern unterhalten: hilfsbereit und sehr nett.

Cons:

Zimmer optisch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Allerdings sauber und geräumig.

Ich würde dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.
Pros:

Das Halbpensionsangebot war sehr gut. Das Frühstück war klassisch und es gab frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen. Obwohl nur wenige Gäste im Hause waren, gab es zum Abendessen eine Wahlmöglichkeit, die abwechslungsreich gestaltet war.
Das gesamte Personal war generell sehr aufmerksam. Das zugewiesene Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Bei einem ausgebuchtem Haus wären die Fahrgeräusche des Fahrstuhls in diesem Zimmer sicherlich ein kleines Geräuschthema geworden. So aber alles Bestens!

Cons:

Mangels ausreichend Schnee war eine Abfahrt zum / vom Hotel zum Reisezeitpunkt nicht wirklich möglich ;-)

Great hotel for a group of friends enjoying (apre)-skiing. Location is great on top of Sölden
Pros:

Great location next to the slope! Friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet and dinner!

Cons:

Room 201 had bathtub with glass shower-wall. Difficult to get in/out due to the folding of the wall.

Really nice hotel, tasty breakfast and dinner, kind staff and good location near slopes. But when you wanna go to the city is better use cabine lift close to the hotel.

Pros:

Had the best time at Hotel Waldcafe - hope to return many more times!
Pros:

The room was so large, it had a second room that I didn't really use and even a balcony that I didn't discover till the last day! Ski-in ski-out facility is amazing for experienced skiiers

Cons:

There was nothing that I didn't like, everything was perfect!

Wonderful Hotel in Sölden
Pros:

Thank you for this wonderful stay, incl. great view down to Sölden. The hotel is located in Innerwald, which is a little bit above Sölden. For all who wants to ski and relax it´s perfect. You can easily drive down by ski to one of the main lifts (blue slope). The room was perfectly clean and we enjoyed every minute. Thank you and we love to come back. (Stay 30.12.-02.01.23)
