I will be telling others of the wonderful stay at The Prospect in Howick.
Pros:

Travelling alone, I liked the room with light decor and I felt safe and secure for the night. Very clean establishment. I enjoyed the dining room (nice food), the bar and a little bet on the machines without having to leave the building. Very nice the way renovations have been done without losing the essence of the era. In particular I would like to acknowledge the friendly and helpful service from Darwin. Such a lovely young man. Thank You Darwin

The location was perfect right in the middle of town

My only thing that could improve our room was putting in air conditioning as we found the room very hot .

1. Just next to the bus station, so you can hear all the noise from the bed till midnight. - no soundproof
2. Extremely low quality old bed -sunk in the middle
3. So creepy aisle down the bethroom

Did not use the breakfast facilities although there was plenty of choice
The room was clean and comfortable
Nice having restaurant and bar facilities on site, especially for a female on their own

Pros:

Love staying here, but the bed was very hard and the pillows were very flat. We had a few ant issues also. But otherwise it's a great place to stay.
