The hotel does not serve breakfast and the nearest place to eat is a cafe at a garden nursery.
We booked to then receive an email to say they were closed for all purposes that night, including bar, restaurant and breakfast the next day. We were welcomed by a truly delightful member of the team but that was the only highlight. No TV worked and with no bar, restaurant it made for a very dull arrival to Scotland
The rooms were very cozy and the staff who welcomed us were very nice.
We had a good night's sleep in peace and quiet and we had some oatmeal to prepare when we woke up - all in all a very pleasant experience.
There's nothing around it - this is not a negative thing, unless you're looking for "downtown movement" and walking places.
It was tricky to figure out where to leave the keys because we didn't have that information, but thankfully we found the nice lady cleaning in the morning who let us know we could leave it in the bedroom door.

Es war super ruhig, auch wenn abends das Restaurant voll war. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Wenn wir was gebraucht haben, wurde uns direkt geholfen. Das Zimmer war super gemütlich.
Es wird kein Frühstück angeboten. Wenn man das aber weiß, kann man drauf einstellen. In diesem Zusammenhang wäre ein kleiner Kühlschrank schön.
The room was very stylish, the bed was comfortable and although on a main road into the area it was quiet after the rush hour had passed.

We’d chosen this place due to its location and restaurant. It’s in a good spot for exploring the start of the NC500. The room was modern and nicely decorated. On our second night we ate at IV10 which is a 15 minute drive away, brilliant, fab food and lovely staff, highly recommended.
The room was tiny and felt like they’d decided on the furniture and then had to squeeze it all in. We’d had to book a twin room as this was the only room available but it probably should be a nice single, not a cramped twin. Bedding was polycotton, more polyester than cotton and not very comfortable. Restaurant was a big let down, it wasn’t busy but we had to wait a long time to place our order and then a long time for the food. It seemed to be missing a manager with the ability to oversea what was going on. When the food arrived it was disappointing, I’d ordered a special of pork and black pudding, what I got was a Sunday lunch complete with Yorkshire pudding on a Wednesday night - very strange! Further spoiled by the live music. They don’t do breakfast so we ate at the suggested Munro Garden Centre which was basically but OK.
It’s a lovely clean cozy place. The restaurant serves beautiful food.
Nobody there at night. we asked for an extra towel which they said would be left at our door as we were going out it wasn’t there when we arrived back and then no one was there to give us one
