The location is gorgeous - right on the beach and next to the sea. The rooms (I had a room on the beach with a small little plunge pool)are pretty and well stocked with comfortable beds, good lighting. The resort is very small but I loved it because of that - it's private and quiet and with lovely welcoming and warm staff. The food was excellent and I enjoyed breakfast on my terrace each morning. The room was perfect for just me - had my husband been with me there was little storage space for clothing, although enough room for 2 to move around. cocktails by the pool were excellent as was the coffee - always plenty of it and made fresh. We ( I was with a friend) walked each day into Pollonia which is charming - small but a wonderful choice of restaurants etc to while away the day.
Not much and just small things. Supper in our room was not served on a tray so awkward to clear up afterwards. We arrived after a very rough and long ferry ride and just wanted to check in and relax, but the check in process was somewhat protracted - friendly and willing so I kept it short. The open shower is a wonderful concept but not so practical with water spraying outside of the shower, despite best efforts to keep it in the shower!
The photos are misleading. For the price, I expected a luxury experience — I even booked the honeymoon suite, which was supposed to be a wonderful room. Instead, the room was extremely small, with a view straight into the neighbors, zero privacy, and a tiny bathroom. The sink has no room at all for my skincare products. Either the price should be three times cheaper or the hotel should be three times better. If you want comfort and luxury, stay at the Meliá — better value too.
O hotel é lindo, a equipe de atendimento especial: Dimitri e Katherina foram nota 1.000. O café da manhã é servido na varanda do apartamento, bem servido. A piscina é bem legal, é um hotel boutique. Fica em Pollonia área de restaurantes, praia próxima.
O hotel tem acesso ao mar, mas a área é de pedras.
The staff made the stay so wonderful.
The shower did not have a door so there was a lot of splashing.
Breakfast was excellent.
Location and staff were amazing. Strongly recommend staying in Pollonia. Easy to walk everywhere.
Easy to communicate with and helpful with transfers, and with car rental.
Very clean and service was excellent. Very quaint and boutique feel.
Loved having the pool and the swimming area so close. Very picturesque.
Nothing not to like, but just a couple of things to note:
1. Probably not for young children, but teenage or older. Also, would not recommend if looking for party scene, which we were not so perfect for my wife and 2 20 year old daughters.
2. No gym if you are a workout-aholic, but offer yoga mats and easy to run in the neighborhood, and swimming great
3. Rooms are compact but functional. If you can request one closer to the sea, would do so.
4. Can be quite windy. If so, they had great recommendations to go to southern side of the island for the day. Helpful to have a rental car as well if you want to explore the island (ie Plaka, or some of the other great beaches)
Great location and view, welcoming staff, amazing breakfasts. Easy walk to local restaurants.
The noise - we had a room with a plunge pool right next to the main pool. We could hear the staff from 7am every morning. There was also continuous music played by the pool from around 0930 to 2300 every day which we loathed - had we known we would’ve booked somewhere else. However, everything else was excellent.
