A gem of a hotel near the subway in Tongzhou Beiyuan!
Pros:

I loved the lobby and the decor of the whole hotel. The staff were really friendly. My twin room was very comfortable, with good lighting and a big TV. The bathroom was very nice too. It felt quite luxurious yet it was very cheaply priced! The location was good because it was only a few minutes walk away from the subway and over the road from that was a reasonably-sized mall. I stayed there because I was visiting Beijing Universal, which is only 6 stops away. I would love to stay there again when I visit Beijing Universal again as well as explore the surrounding area, as there are some good sightseeing places around there.

Cons:

I paid 28RMB for breakfast, which is not bad. There was a wide variety of dishes, but the problem was that the hot food was not hot. It was quite tepid and quickly got cold. The heat was not on high enough to keep the dishes warm. Furthermore, the fruit juice machine was not working, which was a shame. If these two issues were solved then I would happily eat there again.
