Accueil chaleureux, chambre spacieuse et terrasse très bien exposée offrant une vue à couper le souffle sur le coucher de soleil le soir.
S’il faut vraiment trouver un défaut (mineur): Le petit déjeuner en plein soleil, un peu chaud , la terrasse mériterait un petit coin d’ombre

מלון בוטיק מנוהל עי ניקולאס הבעלים שעושה עבודה מעולה, וגם ג׳ורג׳ שעובד במלון, אנשים מקסימים מארחים בחיוך ובסבלנות.
ניקולאס זמין כל הזמן ויודע להמליץ על מקומות באזור.
טרסה נהדרת וגדולה שמשקיעה על נוף משגע שימשה אותנו כל ערב כמקום התכנסות וארוחות משותפות (היינו 3 משפחות עם ילדים)
המיקום מרתיע בתחילה, אבל כשפוגשים את ניקולאס עם החיוך הלבבי וכשמתחילים להתמצא מבינים שהמיקום מאוד נוח (למרות הכביש המאוד מפותל בעלייה והכפר הפיצפון שבו נמצאים) העדפנו לחזור כל יום לפני שמחשיך בגלל הכביש החשוך והמפותל וזה הצריך מאיתנו להצטייד בסופרמרקט לארוחת ערב לילדים במלון.
הבניין הוא בניין אבן לשימור, מצד אחד חדרים גדולים ובעיצוב מיוחד מאוד ובוטיקי עם המון שיק מצד שני בחדרים יש מדרגות אבן שקצת מקשות. לזוגות ולבודדים המקום רומנטי שליו ואידיאלי, למשפחות (במיוחד רעשניות כמו שלנו 😅) לדעתי קצת פחות.
Ο συνδυασμος της καταπληκτικης φιλοξενιας με το παραδοσιακο σκηνικο του πετρινου πυργου δημιουργουν μια εκπληκτικη ταξιδιωτικη εμπειρια. Η ευτυτερη περιοχη γεματη με σημεια ενδιαφεροντος απαραμιλλης ομορφιας.
Very comfy and huge beds with good quality bedding and pillows. We had an incredible view out to the ocean. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It was very nice to meet Nikolas and also George. We would absolutely stay again. There is also a nice deli up the road and it’s close to some great beaches
Very large apartment in a beautiful old building in a small town on a hill close to the coast. Great to visit different beaches near Kalamata.
Everything about this place is exceptional. Very friendly host, who gave us great tips.
A tiny bit remote, but this could be an advantage if that’s what you are looking for.

The breakfast in the courtyard was very good and we appreciated the owners guidance as to where to visit
There were one or two niggles. The sink plug did not work and the blinds were difficult to operate.
Stunning location and the property is beautiful.
The host Stephen was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. From providing lemons and ice for gin and tonics too advice re dinner and beach swims. We all 5 would happily return.

Everything was absolutely fabulous. The location, the amazingly restored stone house, and the fantastic host. We really enjoyed our time there and hope to be able to go back one day.
This year my family and I wanted to enjoy our holiday in Greece in a smaller hotel away from the usual tourist hotspots. Our choice was Vila Vager, perched on a hilltop with breathtaking views over the Messinian Gulf. The century-old stone-built house has a special flair, underlined by the tasteful interior design. Everything fits together.
We chose to stay in the spacious Boho Suite on the top floor, accessible via a lovely terrace, where we were served our daily breakfast. Although Megali Mantineia is a really small village, it has three tavernas. We were lazy bones and just switched between two of them every day, enjoying delicious local specialities and Greek classics.
Santova beach is only a 5 minute drive away (you will need a rental car to explore the Mani anyway).
Last but not least, I would like to thank our friendly hosts for their recommendations for outdoor activities (Explore Messinia) and sightseeing.
