Nice bed, easy stay and check in!
Pros:

I arrived late and even though there was no staff to meet me the checking in process was easy and well explained in an email. The room itself was nicely laid out, very spacious and the bed was very comfy! It was a large bed, my feet usually hang off the end due to being tall but it was perfect.

Cons:

The green emergency light in the room was a little bright, not as bright as other reviews had mentioned about, they said they could read by it which isn't true. But when you wake up in the night it will feel noticeably brighter in a pitch black room. The shower cubicle was a little small to manoeuvre in even for someone tall and thin, but other than that my stay was great.

Lovely stay, great staff and lodge. Would definitely go again!
Pros:

Lodge was lovely, really spacious and very clean.

Cons:

Mattresses could have been more comfortable and I felt it unfair you had to pay so much extra to use the pool.

Nice hotel but to have to.pay extra to use the facilities is unacceptable.
Pros:

Staff were excellent, food waa lovely and hotel was nice and clean

Cons:

The fact that if I wanted to use the pool I would have been charged £25. To have to pay extra for facilities that the hotel already has, as a paying guest in unacceptable to me.

Over night work trip
Pros:

Nice and clean, lovely location and really nice staff in the spa/reception and in the restaurant

Cons:

The bed wasn’t very comfortable but otherwise, really nice room

Disappointing!
Pros:

The breakfast was a bit hap hazard. We had to write our requests for breakfast when we arrived. The waitress was rather confused in the morning as to who had ordered what. No pastries supplied for breakfast either!

Cons:

My brothers room had an issue with the green light on the ceiling which must have been malfunctioning as it was like a strobe all night so they hardly got any sleep. There was also a fan outside their window which was very noisy! Room 6 is not suitable for rental the way it is. The staff were very dismissive of the issue when it was reported to them. Will not stay there again. It was a sad occasion for us as we were going to my Mother in laws funeral , this only made things worse!

Excellent
Pros:

The evening meals we had as a family were all excellent and the breakfast in the morning was also very good. Couldn’t ask for much more!

Cons:

As we had the superior suite on the top floor and it being a very hot day. The room was holding the heat extremely well, we could’ve done with a fan but that’s the only gripe. We got the windows open, temperature down and all slept well.
