Nice hotel close to the impressive Stuibenfall waterfall.
Pros:

Very nice hotel with a modern and warm interior design. The spa area is new and pretty, with complementary fruit and water. Breakfast was good, and the complimentary welcome drink was a very nice surprise.

Cons:

We stayed there at the end of August and were provided with a flat sheet and a small blanket instead of a duvet. When we asked for a duvet (at around 9:30 p.m., when we knew what the room temperature would be during the night) it seemed like a big deal. We got the duvet within 10 minutes, but we felt awkward having asked for it as we were told that we should have informed the hotel earlier and that the maid had completed her shift for the day already.
A simple fix would be to communicate until when a duvet can be requested or to leave a spare duvet in the wardrobe in case guests feel cold.

Wenn ich nochmal nach Umhausen komme (eventuell mit Hund) würde ich wieder dort übernachten.
Pros:

Lage ist relativ zentral und trotzdem mit schöner Aussicht und alles gut erreichbar, ohne jedoch laut zu sein.
Das Hotel ist eine gute Kombination aus traditionell und mit Geschichte und gleichzeitig modern und gemütlich. Die Hundefreundlichkeit ist hervorzuheben.

Netter Aufenthalt im Johanna, gerne wieder...
Pros:

Schönes familiengeführtes Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal, man kümmert sich um die Gäste.

Liegt nahe der Ötztal Bundesstraße, aber trotzdem ruhig.
Meinen individuellen Zimmerwunsch wurde dankenswerter Weise entsprochen, sogar mit einem kostenlosen Upgrade.
Zimmer und Hotel gleichermaßen sehr gepflegt, klassische schöne Holzeinrichtung, prima Balkon, alles recht naturverbunden und tierfreundlich ->
Interessant: Hundehalter sind in diesem Hause explizit gerne gesehen (ich gehöre nicht in diese Zielgruppe). Dennoch gab es zum Zeitpunkt meines Aufenthalts keinerlei negativen Auffälligkeiten durch Vierbeiner.

Frühstück war auch tiptop, alles bestens.

Preis/Leistung gut in Anbetracht der Hochpreislage Ötztal. Ich komme gerne wieder...

Pros:

Prima locatie, jammer dat we er maar 1 nacht verbleven. Als je met een hond reist, dan is het super, ook voor de hond was van alles geregeld, heel bijzonder.
Perfect het welkomstdrankje, dat was ons nog nooit overkomen

Ein perfekter Aufenthalt für die Durchreise mit unseren Rädern, aber sicherlich auch für einen längeren Zeitraum bestens geeignet. Sehr freundliches und flexibles Personal, schöne saubere Zimmer, ausgezeichnetes Abendessen und Frühstück, gerne wieder!
